Oh The Deep, Deep Love - Sovereign Grace

As Christians, we know that our greatest problem-separation from God-has been solved. Jesus Christ, the only Savior, has taken our sin upon himself, enduring God's wrath in our place and rising from the dead to assure us of our forgiveness.
But all our problems don't end when we turn to Christ. We still get sick. Marriages end. Children die. Our plans, great or small, are disrupted. We grow weary in the battle.
Scripture assures us that God is sovereignly using our difficulties as tools to make us more like his Son. "We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." (Ro 5:3--5) While we know these things are true, in the midst of our hardships we can lose perspective. Problems can loom large, and our hopes can grow dim.
Come Weary Saints is an invitation to redirect your focus to the God whose love has been forever demonstrated at the cross of Calvary. As you listen to these songs, may your faith and joy in the Savior be strengthened for the challenges you face, now or in the future.

oh the deep deep love of Jesus, was sent to my phone a moment ago from a number I don't know, I listened and thought it was beautiful the melody was very calming and tranquil the words meant a lot . Speaking of chilling out dude... You need to. And I'm guessing that you might want to Hear the song, not just listen to it. The Deep, Deep Love of Jesus is here for you. If you recognize that you've screwed up and sinned thousands of times (have you been watching and learning how to do that from me? ), and Realize that Jesus died on the cross in YOUR place, and mine and ours, ask Him to forgive you of your sin and to be the Lord of your life and your Savior... and He will, at that moment- whether you "feel" anything or not. It's a matter of accepting the Lord's Promises in a willing, yet Logical Faith in what He did for you. That is called being Born Again, just as Jesus Himself explained to Nicodemus, one of the elder rulers of Judah in their "religious" and yet secular Council at the time when Jesus was Walking around in His JCWWs. (That's what sandals were called in the 70's- Jesus Christ Water Walkers.) (I don't think He had any similar notion for Cowboy boots, unfortunately, though He Will be Cowboying Up when He Returns to the Mount of Olives and His Body is Cowboying Up too as He and we are coming back horseback! Look it up... Rev.19-11. Holy Yeehaw!) Nicodemus was a very religious man, but being religious without being Born Again doesn't make ANYONE a Christian. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than going into a barn makes you a cow. Being Born Again does make you a Christian. One would require a Miracle, the other IS a Miracle. And while going to, becoming part of and participating in a Bible-Centered and Teaching church is critical to being Taught by the Spirit and by the fellow Members of the Church the Holy Spirit has Equipped with, by and through the Callings God Designed for his Body of Believers (the actual Church, Triumphant), you don't want to wait to 'go to church" to spend time with the Lord Jesus to Learn from Him by studying His Word, talking to Him and Listening to Him. Do that every day you have left. And nobody knows the hour of our individual OR Church-wide transitions out of these Earth Suits as either our deaths in the flesh or our Catching Up in the Rapture will occur at exactly 24 different "o'clocks" around the world, and two different calendar days for that matter, all at the same instant... Jesus LITERALLY Becomes your Best Friend while at the same time, He Becomes your Lord and Master. It's wild and counter-intuitive, but It's the Truth. And the only thing you lose is rottenness and funkiness as your Person in Him continues supplanting your old nature.

As a former "sky pilot" for all the other folks who used tobi-daily trip with me on peyote, mescaline, 'shrooms (as in "mush"...) and a couple of times on acid (didn't care for the electric-ness of LSD as I preferred the "wind" of organics), I would take over and talk people back down into the zone when they started freaking out because they couldn't handle the depth of the trips we were on because they were trying to pace me. I think our largest single sale was 1,000 kilos to a guy, but we were moving 100 kilos at a pop regularly of Thai stick, Jamaican, Tulsa Tops, Columbia, Vietnamese Black,etc. My first roommate in Honors Housing dropped out of school after about three weeks as those darned classes were interfering with his business selling dope. Speaking of "dope"... Doing acid caused the brain's synapses to kind of fuse opening the door into the spiritual realm called tripping I didn't realize it at the time (not at first, at least), but tripping (and actually, any kind of drug induced change of the state of mind) was actually opening the doors into the spiritual realm. Problem was those brain cells on acid didn't slowly wear off and open back up as the organic drugs did. The acid fused cells just kind of went dormant and I guess sloughed off. Hence the number of frequent users who became "acid heads" aka dopes aka idjits. But weird as it was, the peyote, of which I was a devotee as I knew I was tripping in the spiritual realm, at least "felt" like I had taken my brain to a car wash. But I hope you noticed, I didn't say Spiritual Realm, as we were entering into the spiritual realm through another gate or door, other than Jesus. There's a genuine reason the fruits of the flesh in Gal. 5:20 refers to sorcery as a translation for the Greek word "Pharmakeia". Get it? Pharmaceuticals? Drugs? Get it? Sorceries? Don't get it! We were entering into the satanic realm of the god of this world, formerly known as Lucifer before he fell in rebellion, but in the era of man referred to as satan, the devil or in my case, slewfoot. Far as I'm concerned, he doesn't deserve either a capitalized reference or even a more formal name. he's a defeated foe and enemy of our souls, existing here on Earth for a little while longer while cruising around with a stomped head since Calvary.

One of these Days pretty soon, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is going to come back for His Church, and in the blink of an eye (estimated by some physicists to be around 1/245,000th of a second- darned quick), we (His Church) will be transformed, caught up (Raptura in Latin, hence "Raptured") to literally be with Him at the Party of ALL Parties in the His-Story of the universe, the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. I'm not sure if angels will be attending, playing in the band or just out in awe and wonder, but I Know that We WILL be blown away, as WE are the Guests of Honor because the Church IS the Bride of Christ! By the way, "Christ" is NOT Jesus' last Name. Some of you may not know that. "Christ" is basically the English term for "Cristos" which is the Latin/Greek term for "Messiah" the English version of Ha-Mashiach...Jesus' Prophesied and Fulfilled Being as "Savior". Just sayin'... Point is, the Truth is SO deep, and ever expanding in the depth of understanding via revelation through the Word of God (our Bibles), that He is more "mind-blowing" than any synthetic or even organic drug trip could ever imitate... much like slewfoot and his temporary kingdom (thanks to Eve's deception and Adam's goofy willingness to sin, probably just to get along with his wife) are SO shallow in comparison, it is beyond beneath any worth at all. Just as he is, just as your's is and mine was in my B.C. days.
