I love Chris Broussard and I love LeBron James so now I'm confused lmao Yeah, I get Chris' point which is why he's my favorite sports analyst but I also recognize Nick's takes. I also believe one on one, Jordan's better but in a team effort, LeBron wins. That's just how they play and they're different. One has that killer instinct, the other has that pass first mentality. But in the end of the day, Colin Cowherd's right: LeBron HAS to beat GSW this year if he wants a good argument for the GOAT. Superteams like GSW rarely form so LeBron better capitalize on this opportunity to beat them while he's still at peak form.

Except Jordan played playoff games in the 80s as well. This is what Broussard means. If your'e going to tell us about your cassette tapes you need to watch ALL of Jordan's playoff games. hocam bak burda yanlış bi durum var bence.O dönemin basketboluyla bu dönemin basketbolu arasında o kadar çok fark var ki.

Ridiculous argument against the Kawhi having career high with only 8ast. Over the course of the years, especially in Pop's system, Parker's highest assist average per game was 5.9. Highest in Spurs history was only 8.2. Again, not enough research Mr Wright
@johanndiaz83877 жыл бұрын
Yawn Paular but again tony Parker is a scorer not a pure pg
@wokzrap207 жыл бұрын
Spurs' under Pop highest playoff assist average was 9.4 by Avery Johnson back in 1996 and Parker had 7apg in 2012. Again, Spurs play team basketball. If we're counting hockey assists, then Kawhi would average more than 10 a night.

Nick probably took more L's than W's in this podcast but At around 9:00 , Nick has a point. MJ had not accomplished the most ever & people had already started calling him the GOAT & putting up statues of him in 1994. How come MJ didn't have to win more than 6 rings? or 11 rings? How come he didn't have to go to the finals the amount of times that Kareem went? How come MJ didn't have to match Kareem or Bill Russell's total number of season MVP awards? How come MJ didn't have to top Kareem's all time scoring record? How come MJ didn't have to get as many Triple Doubles as Magic Johnson in the playoffs? How come MJ didn't have to average 8 Rebs & 8 Assists? How come he gets away with scoring 50+ points in a few games? How come he didn't have to play in as many All-Star game as Kareem? Why does he get a pass for retiring 2 to 3 times while other guys had to play from debut to retirement? People bring up that LeBron is playing in a weak era of the NBA. Did they ever ask themselves if Kareem, Magic, and Russell played in tougher eras than MJ? They just started calling him the GOAT after walking away with 3 straight titles and 3 Finals MVPS and a few other accolades But when LeBron hasn't yet gotten 6 rings like MJ, he can't be called the GOAT whatsoever? Everyone goes nuts.
@sessahme7 жыл бұрын
As a rookie, Magic Johnson started at center in the close out game of the NBA finals, he played all but one minute and exploded for 42 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists, including an impressive 14-of-14 from the line. And Lakers won. This is part of the reason I think he was better than Jordan. Although I do think comparing players is stupid. Too many variables.
@hny23967 жыл бұрын
sessahme Magic also had Kareem and in that closeout game there was a guy by the name of Jamal Wilkes(a HOFer) that dropped 40 to help the lakers wins
