I love how they all keep their eyes closed. Makes it seem a little more heartfelt. I come to songs like this when I'm having a difficult night and feel quite blessed to have found this rendition. To help me get the tears out so I can get up tomorrow and focus better. Depression and anxiety have a strong hold on me especially since I became homeless. I literally have no aggressive tendencies, very little ability to respond to Aggression from others and tend to be a quiet soft spoken person. Anyone who has met me (as far as I have been told) has never regretted it and often enough is blessed for it. More than one person has told me I have a very calming way about me or I have some very beautiful eyes. despite being homeless I care enough for my neighbors wherever I may be to be willing to volunteer to feed the hungry visit the sick help the disabled and so forth. I'm glad God placed this on my heart to feel empathy and compassion for others like he did, even though I really don't appreciate life sometimes, because otherwise I wouldn't be here listening to such beautiful music. Lovely! I'd really like to hear a studio recording of this choir. Whilst in this video it may have been intended for visual effect, eyes-closed singing in cappella style is also a very good technique for staying in tune, especially with one another. The final chord of the original - and many subsequent - recording(s) of this song has the 5th note of the major triad as its bass, but I fancy I heard the root bass note being used here. If so - good!
