I’m pretty sure for story reasons the Anna paralogue is only available pre timeskip for Blue Lions and Golden Deer. The boss for Hunting by Daybreak and Anna’s paralogue are the same person and he dies in Hunting by Daybreak. The Black Eagles are weird with Anna’s paralogue because she also shares it with Jeritza on Crimson Flower, making it a post timeskip paralogue on that route.

This Byleth is insane. She’s 5 points of defense away from being able to take no damage in Hunting by Daybreak with the Aegis Shield and Duscur Heavy equipped. Without being in an armored class. Mental

@@roxonightreturns In this case, it’s “Byleth that is wyvern (knight)”. It’s basically a descriptor relation. Other common use in FE is to describe pairings, e.g. Maribelle!Lucina means Lucina whose mother is Maribelle. Y!X and Z!X both describe X but they are differing in that one is associated with Y and the other with Z.

ALOIS MOMENT (Alois is my favorite character, if he has no fans I am dead) My favorite thing about him gameplay-wise is probably the One-Two Punch + Quick Riposte combo, it gives him a nice, unique niche that no one but Dedue can replicate. Would highly recommend his Shamir support since it was mentioned during the episode. Probably my favorite of his after Bernadetta.

1:06:30 - Hapi and Constance can both legally cert solo A classes (Bishop and Warlock), with Constance having a 100% chance at this point and also having high authority and Hapi having it in a faith class, which isn't a boon and is almost at A. I think solo A cert difficulty is really overhyped, it just requires a bit of planning with tutoring. But it's definitely doable to certify solo A (except for maybe on Byleth) and have decent authority rank, especially when the solo A cert matches a boon. You don't want to do it with your whole army ofc, but it's quite doable to get a few sensible units to solo A certs by level 20.

Actually you have a point I'll bring that up to Mekkah next recording. I don't think there's anyone in our army who's gearing to Falcon Knight. We have an Ingrid adjutant who has been cooking the whole time but her levels are frankly garbaggio.

What is considered most normal for this game? Recruit only the characters you want? Get everyone but only use certain ones? Or grind everyone and swap around however you feel like?

They def just not picking them up cause the ranks are annoying. Kind of a shame with Casper since that means no death knight paralouge this playthrough

@@God-dl4cs Very true. I guess they just don't think they accounted for them joining to unlock their paralgoues for part 2. As far as brawling and H. armor ranks, brawling you can manage by getting it to just D+ by getting Caspar's support up to C+. Ferdinand is more difficult to recruit because of heavy armor needing to be at C rank by default. But if you do the exact same thing as you would to get Caspar then you will be able to get the both of them. He did mention that he didn't want to do the whole rusted/broken weapon trick to move things along for Byleth's weapon ranks. So he's going at his own preferred pace in this case.

We're intentionally not recruiting a bunch of the characters so that we can see them present in part 2 maps.

@@OriginalRaisins Understandable. I was mostly curious about the whole party comp if he was planning to do all the paralogues. It will be interesting to see the different texts that shows up when you talk to some of the recruited party members during part 2. For example one of my runs I didn’t recruit Ferdinand and he died as an enemy and Dorothea commented on that he died and reminiscenced on their academy days.
