For those who forgot why Atom was able to survive for so long; Atom is a sparring bot, sparring bots are meant to sustain heavy damage to reduce repair costs which is why Atom was able to survive against Metro and Zeus

This was one of my favorite movies growing up and if anyone is wondering how adem was able to take so many hits it is because adem was never ment to actually be in a ring they were ment to be a sparing bot. A sparing bot is kinda like a punching bag for bigger more advanced robots that actually fight in the ring.
