(🆘 this is a really fun thing that I found in TENET) Christopher Nolan's mind-bending film, Tenet, is intricately woven around a curious linguistic puzzle known as the Sator Square. This ancient word square, composed of five words arranged in a symmetrical pattern serves as a cryptic foundation for the film's complex narrative The Sator Square: A Core Concept in Tenet Christopher Nolan's mind-bending film, Tenet, is intricately woven around a curious linguistic puzzle known as the Sator Square. This ancient word square, composed of five words arranged in a symmetrical pattern, serves as a cryptic foundation for the film's complex narrative. The Sator Square consists of the following words: * SATOR: The name of the film's primary antagonist. * AREPO: The alias of the Spanish painter who creates forged Goya works. * TENET: Both the title of the film and the code name for the protagonist's mission. * OPERA: The location of the film's opening sequence, a Moscow opera house under siege by Chechen rebels. * ROTAS: The name of Andrei Sator's enigmatic project. A striking feature of the Sator Square is its palindromic nature. Words like "AREPO" and "OPERA" read the same backward and forward. This symmetry mirrors the film's exploration of time inversion, a central concept in the plot. While the word "TENET" is also a palindrome, it holds a dual significance in the film. It functions both as a code name and as a gesture, hinting at the complex actions and decisions required to navigate the world of time manipulation.

If you're inverted and you use a regular gun, then from your point of view it would be the same as if you were in regular time using an inverted gun. That's why they need to use inverted guns when they themselves are inverted.

Something about the ending still confuses me. If they’re fighting with a ‘temporal pincher’ of whatever… then who the frick are they fighting against? Do the people they are fighting against have/use the same technology? Because wouldn’t they just reverse entropy and defeat any enemies left over or???
