Sum 41 is the shit and this is an AMAZING recompile of their greatness... into something more!!!!
@thomasmarchese28084 жыл бұрын
Don’t worry real country fans do not like modern country. 🤢. Cash, Nelson, Clint black, Justin Moore, Joe Nickels, shania Twain, Sarah evens ect. That’s real country. Luke combs is a sell out and the yodeling kid too. Jason Alden and Florida Georgia lime are country boy band industry puppets with educative fists in their asses making them speak like ventriloquist dummies.

@TheCC214 жыл бұрын
So because you are ignorant, you already had a preconceived notion that it would be shit because it's country. Before even listening to it, in your mind, you hated it. Not douchy at all.
@TwoEyesOpen4 жыл бұрын
@@TheCC21 sure, man. if you want to look at it with that perspective then that's your prerogative. if you re-read what I said, I don't generally like *modern* country, so yes, I had preconceived notions that I wouldn't like this based on my past experiences. and since Sum 41 is my favorite band, it would be very easy for a cover to fall short in my eyes, because I hold them in high regard. All this is to say that I don't think this is douchey. I think what I said in turn was actually one of the best compliments I could give because it showed that he rose above all of my expectations. If that makes me a douche in your eyes, then I'm sorry -- but I'm not really seeing that. Case in point, Alex himself hearted my post, lol. I think it's a pretty human thing to dislike most of what you hear in certain genres (ex: modern country in my case, just like some people might dislike metal or rap or techno or whatever) and also place certain artists on a high pedestal (Sum 41 for me). Andddd it's perfectly human to be biased based on past experiences. I'd argue that actually I'm open-minded because I clicked the video anyway to watch. If I didn't like it, I wasn't going to say anything or dislike the video or anything like that, so no harm no foul. But instead I found myself enjoying it so I took the time to say something genuine, like his video, and subscribe -- that'd be a win in Alex's book, right? sorry it came across douchey to you, man... But I think youve got it twisted. ✌️ And also just by straight up calling me ignorant and douchey based on a comment I left on a cover song, I feel as if you're coming across as more of the presumptuous type my guy. There's a lot more to me as a person than just this one comment that I left. I even admitted that I had preconceived notions in my original post and admitted where I was wrong. Nothing douchey about that.
