In western Sichuan, there is a palace of gods

Rangtang was established as a county in 1958. The name of the county comes from a natural village within the territory. The village is located on a mountain, and its mountain shape resembles the "Zangbala Bodhisattva" holding a treasure banner in his hand. "Tibetan-Chinese Dictionary" records: "Zhan Bala, the meaning translation is Zhi Na. The Sanskrit translation is Yama Bala. The old translation is Bulu King Kong, the name of a god of wealth." The "Tibetan-Chinese Dictionary" further records: "Bull, Baozhuang, Victory Banner. A decoration or object for gods on the ridge of the palace that symbolizes victory."
"Soil" is a Tibetan transliteration, derived from the above meaning. In Tibetan, Pingbazi is called "Tang". "Rangtang" got its name from this, which means "the Bazi of the God of Wealth". This is also the basis for the formation of the place name "Rangtang".
