Academia has become a business rather than an institution. Administration is determined purely by nepotistic hiring practices, professors are either poorly paid “randoms” who can never be tenured unless they walk the line admin sets for them or they are related to admin already, thus given privileges an outsider doesn’t get. Anyone who challenges this status quo will lose their position and become all but unhireable for other universities for stirring the pot. Justification for ignorance is the Harvard President's view and is not a defense. When two of their own staff are fired because of their freedoms being violated and anti-Semitism is allowed by those she obviously supports, by allowing the "students" to say whatever they want without any consequence.
