All of Rep Good's questions were, at best, unfair characterizations of what is happening on college campuses. The right to free speech is foundational to a college. It is extremely difficult to balance that with student safety (both physical and psychological). A key part of what is causing the 'problem' here is binary thinking (100% good v 100% bad, 100% right v 100% wrong)...exemplified by Rep Good's questions/commentary.

The First Amendment protects free speech, but there are some categories of speech that are not protected. One of which is "True Threats". The Supreme Court has defined true threats as "statements where the speaker means to communicate a serious expression of an intent to commit an act of unlawful violence to a particular individual or group of individuals".
