@@infiniterer287 Yes, and the Palestinians lost that war as well as the subsequent conflicts in 1956, 1967, and following. The two state solution is the only one in which the Palestinian people have a real prospect for national governance; the spoiler has always been resistance on either side to making that solution a reality. It took Arafat nearly his entire life to come around to supporting it, and even then the PA has shown itself more interested in retaining its financial plums from Western NGOs than actually winning over a divided electorate. Meanwhile, Israel's turn to belligerent right-wing policies under Prime Minister Sharon (with the Bush administration's go ahead) has only exacerbated the issue. Both sides are and have been increasingly unwilling to cooperate; Hamas wants all Israeli Jews dead while Netanyahu and the Likud-Tkuma coalition government want a 'Greater Israel'. None of this, however, takes away from the fact that it was Hamas that struck first and broke the peace; resorting to the brutal massacre of unarmed civilians so as to provoke conflict. In this instance, Israel has every right to defend itself and its people. And whatever public goodwill existed for the Palestinians will evaporate because of their sympathizers' uncompromising stance in justifying terrorist actions and employing genocidal rhetoric as a legitimate way to achieve political ends. It's simple. But first answer these 2 questions: 1) Why do most Americans know about the long history of Italian organized crime families in America BUT KNOW NOTHING about the long history of Jewish organized crime families in America? 2) Why does every American know about the Holocaust and yet almost NO Americans know anything about the Holodomore which killed TWICE AS MANY people (who happened to be Christians by the way)? The answer is because SOME FORCE, some entity in America makes it very easy to learn about 1 subject and almost impossible to learn about the other subject. Does Hollywood play a role in producing movies about Italian organized crime in America. You bet! But does Hollywood produce movies about the EQUALLY INTENSE and EQUALLY VIOLENT and PERVASIVE Jewish crime families in America? No. Not at all. So this is one reason that Americans have problems with the Jewish people who produce content in Hollywood - because it is now an established fact that Jewish producers in Hollywood are culturally and intellectually and historically DISHONEST in their portrayals of American history. Another reason is because many students have educated themselves about the history of Israel and how the Palestinian land was FIRST colonized by the British WAY, WAY BACK in 1914. Students are aware of the long and troubled history of the Palestinians as they endured the hardships and cruelties of Imperialism these past 80 or so years. Add to these facts the fact that a good portion of the Jewish community in America (and elsewhere) SUPPORT the Terrorist, Apartheid, Murderous government of Israel and their genocide against the Palestinian people. Do you need more because I've got A LOT more in terms of historical facts to lay on you if you'd like. We're sick of being lied too, conned and accused of antisemitism by the very people committing some of the 21st Century's WORST atrocities! So here's the solution: End the atrocities, end the OCCUPATION of Gaza, END the billions going to Israel each year from the pockets of American taxpayers and we'll stop hating on and being disgusted by Jewish people generally. This should all be taken in the context of THE FACT that there are tens of millions of good, kind, hard working, creative, peace loving, intelligent, talented, wonderful Jewish people around the world. But it's the bad, dangerous, murderous Jewish people who are giving the good Jewish people a bad name. Get it? To most Americans, the Jewish people who support Netanyahu's terrorist regime are like the black gang members in the urban areas of America - dangerous, to be avoided at all costs and in need of culling. The black gang members give the good, strong, loving, family oriented black Americans a bad name. Get it people? The Jewish hatred didn't develop magically or just grow out of the ground. And isn't it curious that it's been around for centuries? I wonder why... Hmmmmm...................................

It is even less if you count outside disruptors. The same picture is true for the rest of universities. These students do not represent majority, they represent minority of the young people on their way to complete radicalization. In case of Columbia the percentage even smaller because Columbia has 35000 students. While attending two separate graduation ceremonies for my immediate family members and other ceremonies, I became appalled at what was being presented on the ceremony stage. At one point, after several speakers, the crowd of parents and friends began to BOOOO the speakers to the extent the ceremony had to be abbreviated. America is waking up to the woke. Israel has the right to defend itself, by putting a lot of millitary personnel at the border, and in the whole country, and by putting air defenses at the border, and in the whole country. What Israel does not have the right to do is to turn Gaza into a parking lot and kill over 10 000 civilians even some sources report over 15 000 civilians, in a an offensive war effort that not only will just cause more harm to all the people in the region in general, weather that be jewish or muslim, but that will also just radicalize much more people into joining Hamas, than it will have eliminated Hamas fighters. What israel has done over the last 2 months is undisputably, and unoquivacly wrong, and is not an act of self defense. Saying so is not antisematism, antisemitism is being hateful and bigoted to Jewish people spreading hatred and bigotry to Jewish people. Critisizing a countries goverments actions and their morality is not being bigoted and hateful twoards the Jewish poppulation, these two things have nothing to do with each other. Had it been my country Canada or any other country around the world for that manner I would of said exactly the same thing. What is wrong is wrong, and should not be accepted. I view everyone as people and only people and hold all people to the same standards and expectations, in terms of actions, and the morality of these actions. If a person does not meat these standards, with their actions, I will talk about it, and critisize the person for not meeting these standards, no matter who it is, no matter their race religion, ethnicity etc., as should everyone. What Israel has done over the past two months in Gaza is wrong, and that has nothing to do with the fact its the only Jewish state in the world or house a great amount of the Jewish population, it has to do with its government, and the actions it is committing in Gaza. When I critisize Israel I critisize the governement there, and those in support of these abhorent actions, I do not critisize the poppulation, or the Jewish people, people need to stop conflicting the jewish people with the Israeli government the two are not the same thing. Many Jewish people are in fact pro palestinian, and believe their should be a ceasefire, and deescalation, and measures put in place to bring peace, and even a two state solution. Jewish people and firstly and foremost people with varied opinions and personalities, and beliefs, and passions. Discrimination, hate and bigotry directed twoards Jewish people is wrong, unnacceptable, and morally wrong and condemable in every sense of the word. People should not associate the Jewish people, with the Israeli government, and their supporters, and should not associate the Jewish people to the actions, and attrocities perpatrated, by the Israeli government, and its supporters. Doing so is not only factually incorect, unoquivically and undisputably wrong in every sense of the word. The terrorist attacks committed on October the 7th by Hamas undisputably, and unoquivacly wrong, unnacceptable, completely amoral and condemable in every sense of the word. Unfortunately the actions committed by both Hamas and the Israeli government, fall under the umbrella of war crimes, and terrorism. In both cases. Both Hamas and the Israeli government need to go now, and we need an end to this barbarism on both sides now and peace in the region. Also antisemitism, and islamophobia and hate twoards the jews and/or muslims not only due to this conflict but in general needs to end now, and needs to go. That is the reality of the situation, and that is the truth we should all be supporting.

I agree. I copied it from the transcript and it is indeed wonderful in its quality and content and insight. “The anti-Semitism we've seen and on your campuses didn't come out of nowhere. There are cultures at your institutions that foster it because you have faculty and students who hate Jews hate Israel and are comfortable apologizing for terror. How did your campuses get this way? What is it about the way that you hire faculty and approved curriculum that's allowing your campuses to be infected by this intellectual and moral rot?”

Harvard is a Christian founded institution the University should have maintained this truth without apologies. Islam and similar institutions never become general on their approach. But Muslims to Christian institutions and want to be accommodated at their terms. Their immigrants demand the same which their own countries do not reciprocate. Americans should stand for their founders values without apologies

It isn't foreign religions that oppose Christian values, it is atheism. The hatred of the country's founding values isn't from outside, foreign, non whites; it is under attack by white, native born, intellectuals (occasionally supported by immigrants).

@@Nightis81 maybe but the answers are learned and calculated in order to solely represent the university from a neutral standpoint. Not admitting or denying anything. My wife worked in universities for many years. The language (lawyers speak)is the same across the board. These universities know they have internal problems. Could be a group of influencers among students, members of senior lecturers or even administrators staff. Probably losing sleep over it because it’s a difficult issue to fix overnight. It’s fair to say that the western society collectively has a big problem where foreign governments have used our multinational system humanitarianism and capitalism against us to destabilise us. While we seek to encourage democracy, they seek to undermine and destroy it as we fight over strategic geopolitical interests and resources all while facing population and demographic decline. I hope I’m completely wrong otherwise, “Hold my beer and watch this” because the next few decades could be wild 😥!

The name Israel is the term used by Jews and Zionists for the Jewish state. It implies that the land is a Jewish state. Therefore, it is unnecessary to add "as a Jewish state". If Hamas or any Muslim people took over the land, they would no longer call the land Israel.

These heads of these institutions must no longer be in positions. They aren't performing in their office functions. Auto-resignation or be dismissed immediately by the boardmembers. They have little integrity. In other countries with mature education system, such educators would have already been asked to leave or be immediately dismissed. I will never again see Harvard Uni with high regards as I used to. The prestige and reputation is already destroyed in the hands guided by such incapable and incompetent leader and staff.
