Three things: 1) if you replaced the 80mm fan with something like a Noctua NF-R8 or Be Quiet! Pure Wings2 80mm fan and flipped it around as an intake do you think it would make a difference? 2) if you replaced the PSU with something along the lines of a 400-500w DC-DC ATX could you hypothetically fit a half height card in the PSU slot? 3) how much space is there between the 60mm cooler limit and the glass? is there any flexibility? The Shadow Rock LP with a low profile fan comes to mind, but I also bought a Scythe Kozuti awhile back with a NF-A9x14 which makes for a 54mm height cooler that I haven't tested out...

I don't think flipping the case fan would help. It was exhausting a lot of heat. Pushing that back into a closed case doesn't make any sense. Don't know about replacing the PSU, but there's no I/O slot in the back of the case for a PCIe card, so it doesn't help. A 60mm cooler would be up against the glass. It won't work well at all.

Hello! Lovely build, I'm planning to buy the inWin B1 as soon as there are Thunderbolt4 MINI-ATX. I need a portable i9 gen 11 workstation and Intel NUCs are expensive/hardly upgradable; at home the idea is to plug a thunderbolt 4 eGPU (obviously the eGPU encasing has its own PSU) What's stopping me is the stock fan noise, everyone is reporting. Do you think that with a high-end third party 80mm it can be easily fixed? Ergo, the problem is the stock inWIN80mm or? Also, is the inWin logo removable in some way? maybe chemically? Or is it etched? Thanks!

hello, would you know if the PSU is replacable(looking like it could fit TFX format) in case of failure? manufacturer claims it is custom, so im worried about future options.

Cooler shoot-out in ML10 please ;-) It's a newer case so IMHO more people will look for reviews.
@TheTechBuyersGuru4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, after publishing this video and playing a bit with the ML10, I think that's the obvious choice. But I won't go as far as to say the ML10 is superior overall. You'll find out more in the next video, which goes live in a week!

Does that inwin b1 have the capacity for a bit of modification? Cutting slots in the fake vents to make them real vents, for example?

Probably not.

What are the temps of the system under load with the fan set to a more moderate level of rpm?

I purchased all the parts for the July 2020 Intel Mini-itx build before this case review came out. Will that Intel build fit in this case?
@TheTechBuyersGuru4 жыл бұрын
Yes it will. I switched to the AMD platform to take advantage of the greater space in this case vs. the Antec, but the Intel Pentium-based system will work fine in this case too.

can you please let me know what is The best Ram I can get fore my i9 10900k whats The best one out there i need the best i dont ceare about price i need yhe best ram Possiple fore my ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII EXTREME motherboard.what one to get? 4 sticks 2 sticks ?
@TheTechBuyersGuru4 жыл бұрын
It all comes down to the motherboard. You can run 4 sticks, but the Maximus XII Extreme may not be able to handle 4400+ RAM, so I'd go with this G.Skill 32GB CL17 for $250: click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=WAzU8cLhuCU&mid=44583&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newegg.com%2Fg-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram%2Fp%2FN82E16820374018%3FItem%3DN82E16820374018%26quicklink%3Dtrue

That is almost guaranteed not to boot. Don't bother with that, you'll be wasting your time. You want 4000MHz RAM with tight timings.

Man I love InWin cases I have the 303RGB, but they either get the looks spot on or they make abominations, unfortunately for my taste the B1 is ugly af 😜
