I noticed that the doors and escalators were on the right, rather than on the left in Tokyo (mostly). Is walking on the right more customary in Sapporo and Hokkaido?

Thanks for your comment :) You are highly observant! Although it may not have been shown in the video, there are exits(doors and escalators) on the left and right of the underground road.
