That is a really great video, thank you so much Kengo ! You share so much information with us, on how to get around, where to stay, what to eat, what to visit. Really great ! I am considering travelling to Hokkaido in spring 2025 and I am already researching for it. For Sapporo, it seems that the area to stay at is Susukino, right ? In Tokyo, I always stay in Shinjuku, because I like to stay in an area, where there are plenty of restaurants in easy walking distance, and also some yokochos. I dont care much about nightlife (but I dont mind it, and as two women, we never felt unsafe in Kabukicho at night). How many nights would you recommend for Sapporo ? Are 3 nights enough ? We like to have time, and not too rush. For an example, last year we spend 4 weeks mostly on the island of Kyushu, and spent 3 nights in Nagasaki and 3 nights in Fukuoka, and didnt get bored for a second.
@tokyokenchan10 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching always. Somehow this was one of the most difficult video to make in my library, so I'm glad you liked it. :) Yes, if you like to stay in Shinjuku, Susukino is the area you might want to choose. I liked the hotel near the Sapporo station, but I'd choose either Susukino or Nakajima Koen when I visit next time. If you enjoyed Nagasaki for 3 nights, 3 nights in Sapporo would be ideal. I stayed only for 2 nights and it wasn't enough time to explore even when many facilities were shut down during my stay.

Hello. Thank you for watching. The time you can see snow for sure in Sapporo is end of December to February, but amount of snow may differ each year. It’s usually cold when it has good snow ❄️ but if you dress warm, get boots 🥾 and stay in the city center near station, you can avoid walking long in the cold weather. March might be a little warmer but sometimes snow melts early.
