Peter Gabriel is an amazing musician and song writer. One of my favorite songs by him is from the album "Us" called "Secret World".

Fantastic Pierre. Can I offer a suggestion? open by playing the piece briefly - as someone who is about 3% your talent it's nice to start with seeing what you can achieve, then having the song in your head as you break it down into learnable pieces. It also gives a kind of preview into the arrangement, how you move around on the keyboard and things. If you know Johnny May's stuff he does that and I have to say it works for me. This is by no means a criticism, I'm loving your channel.

Thanks so much for the suggestion. As a teacher I would LOVE to do that, but performances of a song on KZbin, even for 5 seconds can result in copyright strikes. I have to be careful as I build the channel, but will surely have more flexibility in the future especially if I make a course or something like that!!

@@giantpurplebrain I'm sure he wouldn't. It's fair use and my original performance in an educational setting, but unfortunately these record labels are crazy! Rick has a lot of great videos on this topic.

Aw man, Pierre - you just made my day/week/month/year by posting a tutorial for In Your Eyes! I have been dying to play that song ever since I first saw Peter’s Blu-ray/DVD live concert Secret World Live, which I have literally watched and or listened to a good thousand times. I managed to find the chords for Washing of the Water and mastered that, but my two favorites from SWL are In Your Eyes and Our Secret World. So thank you and bless you! PS: Can I offer a request??? I would LOVE a tutorial on Bruce Hornsby’s piano song Standing On The Moon. It’s actually an extremely easy song with just 4-5 chords, but that makes it very hard to play. Bruce does A LOT of fill, especially in between verses and the bridge, and those I cannot improvise.
