Only Stevie Wonder would put the whole tone scale into a pop song. What an absolute genius. One song I would have included is "Roads" by Portishead. That whole album Dummy is loaded with Rhodes piano, but "Roads" is one where I clearly remember the Rhodes piano by itself in the intro. I wonder if they named it that as a play on words. Was the recording method part of its legendary sound? How about more of the legend itself? What were the top songs recorded on it and by whom? Where is it now? Is there an instrument or plug-in available that faithfully reproduces it" Answering these questions and others that you can think of that I should have asked would surely rate a separate video, maybe more than one.

“Are You All The Things” by Bill Evans and Eddie Gomez on Intuition album was my introduction to the Rhodes, and it’s still one my favorite songs.

I listened to Babylon Sisters on earphones going into work one day and I slipped into some kind of trance. It was a very pleasant experience, as if I was meditating and suddenly found myself in some kind of Nirvana...!

I used to have an old 73 Rhodes. Couldn’t play it to your standard. Beautifully played.

I agree with Babylon Sisters. I used to play that intro over and over gain after I bought the album in the eighties.

My favorite is the intro to Paul Simon's "Still Crazy After All These Years" with Barry Beckett (Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section) on the Rhodes piano.
