Not exactly one of their heavy rock songs… sometimes Kevin Cronin sort of rubbed me the wrong way… he’s saying a lot of great songs… put on songs like this one…. I just can’t.

I was 12 when The Midnight Special first aired and was 21 when it was cancelled. In those 9 years there were some great acts, that's for sure.

I had forgotten about this REO song. It sounds like an early 1960s pop song or doo-wop song -- very different from many of REO's other hits.

@@gregoryduncan3067Or...the album "High Infidelity" was released November 21st, 1980 and this show was December 5th. I remember very clearly what a monster hit this album was but I associate it with 1981. I guarantee you that if this show had been two months later they would have been goung crazy.

Nine Lives was a very heavy album for them but it didn't do as good as Tuna Fish. Seems to me like that would be a logical direction for them to go in.
