Ur review was excellent but limited to possibilities that could happen. I can tell you authoritatively that after purchasing 20 panels manufactured by BHEL 20 years back thinking that I secured a good bargain at 500/- each resulting in an investment of 10k thinking that Solar panels have long life. This was a mistake as the panels had suffered considerable weather damage because of salty coastal weather that cracked the rubber surround resulting in sodium leakage wreaking havoc on the thin unreliable interconnections between each of the 36 cells that was wired in series which was supposed to give around 22 volts opt. Only 2 panels were ok. Rest hardly have any pwr opt.A few have voltage opt of about 18V but absolutely no current.(Like marriage series lights, even if 1 bulb or wiring opens then the entire chain goes off) weather plays havoc on all panels so the seals used should be superior. Nxt I was told that the back sheet plastic used has to be a good product like a sheet specifically made for the purpose by 3M and or Dupont which will guaranteed stable & long life. Finally the panels could have been repaired easily if it came apart easily, but this is nxt to impossible as the fragile cells were almost bonded to the glass making separation from the glass & back sheet impossible resulting in a total failure of an otherwise good product that could have been repaired&rescued but it wasn't possible because the manufacturer has not foreseen the situation 20 years down the line. Sharing this lesson with you so that you people may not have the same problem even with your latest purchase. Pz check, acrrtain proper facts B4 purchase to avoid misfortune later on. Thank you
