I like how in spite of a few of them being good at the game, they don’t know that in team races, both the blue and red shells only target the enemy team. In the blue shells case, it’s only gonna hit the enemy in highest place on that team.

@@fiscarton92 To be fair, most people tend to think that way. Like, it makes total sense that it targets the highest player on the enemy team when you think about it, but I wouldn’t say it’s obvious. I mean, when not doing teams, if you use a Blue Shell while you’re in 1st, it will target you. So unless you’re going to experiment with it in the middle of a race (which I wouldn’t recommend) or look it up, you’re probably just going to assume it will hit whoever is in first place, regardless of the team, and so only use it when the person in 1st is on the opposite team. And even when the person in 2nd gets hit, it’s easy to conclude (in the moment) what Ina did: that it doesn’t target someone who has already crossed the finish line after their final lap. Sure, it’s definitely false (I’ve gotten hit by Blue Shells plenty of times after finishing the race and just auto-driving around the course in a victory lap), and it clearly wasn’t the case in this particular race (since, when putting Ina’s and Ollie’s POVs side-by-side like in this video, it’s clear that Ina got hit before Ollie), but we have the benefit of additional knowledge and not actually racing while watching this. Heck, _I_ know that Blue Shells only target the enemy team, and I *still* sometimes forget while I’m in the middle of a race.

I enjoyed the editing in general, but I really liked how you did the side-by-side with Ollie and Ina in that last race when Ina was hit by a Blue Shell while in 2nd. It presented clear evidence that Ina was incorrect in assuming she got hit because Ollie (who was in 1st) had already finished as we can clearly see that Ina got hit before Ollie crossed the finish line for the final time.

I actually think Ina’s kart is one of the main reasons she won so consistently. Not to mention it was the same kart she used during her time trial practice. The high acceleration and handling are helped make up for a lot of her mistakes. Arguably I think both Ollie and Irys probably raced better but just got slightly more unlucky with items.

At 10:39, we see that the score is 120-126, Blue leading (after the points for the race at the airport are added), but at 14:12 (after the Music Park but before the new points are added), the score is 120-110, Red leading. How did Blue Team lose 16 points? Granted, the extra 16 points wouldn’t have been enough to make up the difference (the final score would have been 168-160 rather than 168-144), but that still seems odd.
