I actually FINALLY figured out where that angry HT JL head sculpt came from! And it’s actually technically not even from JL. It’s in ONE specific scene in Man of Steel, when Superman flies into the Kryptonian ship to stop Zod, and he goes “Krypton had its chance!” If you slow it down, pause the film, you will see this exact face!

Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised. I ordered my Inart Batman very late and so do not have it yet. On the flipside, I ordered Inart Aragorn day 1 and received it 2 weeks ago, much earlier than expected. I ordered Superman day 1 and have my fingers crossed it will be a similar case as with Aragorn. What also may go in our favour is compared to the likes of Gandalf, The Batman and Aragorn, this is a much less complicated, less time consuming piece to put together; no rooted hair and a very straighforward costume.

This figure turns out great! I was a bit worried with the dip in quality due to the Aragorn figure but it seems it's just a freak outlier. It's amazing how close and accurate this figure is to the real-life reference, everything is just close to perfection. There's probably some inaccuracies to the body size and proportions but overall this just looks superb. Edit: the only flaw that I can think of is not making a detachable neck part for flying poses. And a special stand base for flying pose 😅😅 Not a fan of BvS but if they can make Superman this good, I can not wait to see their BvS Wonder Woman figure.

That angry Superman headsculpt reminds me less of Henry Cavill and more of Mumbles from Dick Tracy. But the more I look at the figure, the better it looks to me. And yeah, comparing the headsculpt to Hot Toys, In Art did such a better job.

While i think the inart looks like an absurd proportional improvement over the hot toys. And the coloring and material use is impressive. I dont see henry in that headsculpt at all. And the thin suit is raising longevity questions i havent had with past inart figures. Im priced out by inart, but i cant say i mind that here. I hope folks who want one are able to get one though

It looks great not perfect maybe 9/10 for me. One annoying thing I do agree is Hottoys tendency to make all sculpt skin darker or tan, this clearly showed InArt on another level of painting skills.

Well I don’t know to me this head sculpt does not look as good as the prototype there is something weird about the expression and I don’t know if is the cámara but the skin tone of the head and neck does not look that perfect match to me , specially on the back of the neck it even looks a bit plastic I still think the price it’s to high for what you get

The InArt quality drop is already here, they could've easily put in the little lights (like the torch with Batman or Gandalf's stick) in the spear and rock, no diecast and wonky proportions, I love what InArt does but they don't get a special pass, HT doesn't neither will InArt, the rest looks fantastic

I couldn't disagree more. They have tiers of figures and this isn't from their platinum range or whatever they call it. As for the proportions, I checked heaps of reference and they look spot on to me
