For anyone saying that Bardock couldn't defeat frieza even with Super Saiyan because his power level would be 500.000 when frieza's in first form was 530.000 You're forgetting a massive rage boost he would recieve on top of super saiyan. I believe that when he was fighting against the frieza army his power level kept rising and at one point it was probably around 12-13 thousand. I believe that if bardock would actually turn super saiyan and not let frieza transform he would kill him. But because bardock kept seeing that kakarot was alive and well, he knew that he was gonna be the one that will defeat frieza. So he was able to cope and avoided his last push that would break the super saiyan barrier. My own opinion.

I think even with that bardock will not win, cause u have to remember he was seriously injured, i don't know how the hell he can stand that much when he before was literaly dying But I would like to say that if he was healed and with his zenkai after that and going ssj he would beat frieza'ass at 1st form

He was drowned, drained from energy and his muscles were probably in shreds after using Kaioken x20 I am pretty sure that if Bardock would be stacked with rage boost/spirit of the saiyan race + super saIyan his power level could be even up to 600.000+ And bardock is not as soft as his son, he would beat the living shit out of frieza never letting him even THINK about transforming into another form

I just noticed that neither Goku nor the Z fighters has killed Frieza and his henchmens in the Namek Saga. Vegeta and his son are the ones who carry the entire saga. Most of Frieza's Forces were killed by Vegeta, whereas Frieza and Cold were killed by future Trunks. The funny similar details here is that Vegeta was really scared of the Ginyu Forces but he ended up killed every last one of them. Trunk was afraid of the Androids but he killed all of them in the end. Like father like son 🤣😂

It’s worth remembering Bardock was utterly exhausted even before starting this fight. And not in the “I’m low on gas, gimme your energy” way Goku was in, Bardock was completely and fully spent even before engaging Frieza. He did not have the energy to defeat him.

@@benimpanu4405 No. It's dumb as hell. The thing with SSJ Bardock is that, like, Bardock was this nobody who went against Freeza. Freeza didn't care and just wiped him out with the Planet Vegeta. Freeza literally forgot about Bardock until he saw Goku on Namek. Episode of Bardock makes it so Bardock is the Legendary Super Saiyan that everyone is talking about up until Goku's transformation, which was retconned in BOG to be yamoshi. it makes no sense that this nobody who couldn't even take on Saiyan Saga Vegeta, is not the Legendary Super Saiyan. The form looks cool, but it doesn't fit and just makes Bardock more than he should. Bardock lives a nobody and dies a nobody, as he should be

For those that are confused with the power level of bardock and in super saiyan (Alongside 500.000): No, its not true. bardock in super saiyan will not definitely be 500.000 of power (against frieza with 530.000). Bardock base power level is 13,000, Meaning that bardock on his super saiyan form would be 1.250.000.

sad thing is, no matter how much he deserved being a super sayian, bardock still wouldn't even be able to match freiza's first form (530,000 power level) with bardocks regular 1,060, or even with super sayians 50x boost making it 53,000 though it wouldn't be a fair fight, freiza doesn't even need his other forms, let alone it would ruin the story because frieza would eventually kill bardock, and would most likely train even a little bit just incase the likes of vegeta nappa or radits (he doesnt know about goku just yet, or maybe raditz, i dont know) attain the likes of a super sayain again, making frieza just too strong for goku to take on when the fight breaks out on namek
