Well, he’s a god in a mortal’s body. Zamasu’s just the universe’s greatest gate keeper and hypocrite. He sees a low level society and thinks “gross, they’ll never be us.” Then he turns around, sees a mortal as strong as gods, and thinks “gross, they’re on our level.” So he takes that for himself to keep mortals at a lower level.

This one's probably the weakest of all, though. It pretty much ends where the interesting story would have begun. Obviously we all knew Zamasu completing the Zero Mortal Plan would mean he killed our heroes and everyone is dead, but what happens *after* that? What would the mortal-less universe have looked like? Would another Beerus/other Gods of Destruction have finally stepped in when they learned what Zamasu had done? Would Zeno still get involved without Goku's coaxing? Would other fighters from other timelines, possibly even other universes have gotten involved? They really should've started this What-If *after* Zamasu had already won imo Edit: originally just said "Beerus" when I meant to say "another Beerus", my bad. I know Zamasu already killed this Beerus 😭😭

If gogeta lost, we have 2 unbeatable people who (depending on their interests), will shut it down immediately along with the dragon balls. Gogeta wasn’t the last line of defense unlike in vegito’s case where he quite literally is the only thing keeping the world from falling. Besides even if that wasn’t the case, they are not required to create a what if scenario for EVERY situation. Just because gogeta doesn’t have one doesn’t imply that they’re dick riding him. That’s speculation at best. There can be many explanations for why there isn’t one for gogeta that doesn’t equate to “he’s better”

He obliterated buu in the fight and only defused because he let buu absorb him to free everyone trapped in buu without killing them, however he was defused because he didnt know about the potara time limit. With fused zamasu he was holding back at the start and was just being cocky to spite zamasu, which allowed zamasu to knock him back a bit, but once he went all out zamasu couldn't land a single hit. Also his final kamehameha didn't kill zamasu but it severely weakened him since trunks was able to take him on and eventually kill him. Vegito won both fights, he was just screwed over by the time limit

What they should've done is have goku black and zamasu wounded so badly that they're seconds away from dying and vegito defuses at the last second, with black and zamasu fusing just before goku and vegeta try to finish them off with zamasu killing them in the end. This is how the what if story should have ended. Then the zamasu killing vegito scenario is also complete and utter bullshit, it should be vegito decimating them but failing to finish them off with him defusing with goku and vegeta being killed by fused zamasu. Yeah the Goku Black arc had too many plotholes to make any sense, the Zero Mortal Plan would never have worked. -Zeno and The Grand Priest are shown to keep contact with their Kais and Gods of Destruction consistently, which mean they would inevitably become aware of Zamasu and end him regardless. -Jiren would curbstomp them both fused or otherwise, enough said.

Zamasu could kill him before he gets erased if he gets strong enough to deal with his body guards, or if Zeno is alone. He has bodyguards for a reason. Infinite Zamasu lost his sanity and was just sitting around laughing while the mortals had a several minute conversation with each other and Zeno. Shouldn't apply to Merged Zamasu in the anime.
