Trunks has the masenko so he wouldn't need the Kamehameha wave, and he probably wouldn't be able to use the mafuba properly since it requires so much finesse and can kill the user because of the strain.

@@Mr.Silence. Yet Gohan used the kamehameha against Cell, not Masenko. In regards to mafuba, Roshi himself stated that Trunks has the advantage of wanting to train, to improve, unlike the androids. So again, the fact that one of the last remaining martial artists on the planet (that can use ki), doesn't become Trunk's mentor in any way is bizzare (unless we go off the canon implying he died).

@@constipatedwonka8061 yeah the gohan that spent like a year of one on one time with goku used the Kamehameha which is functionaly the same as the masenko which trunks already knows so i don't really see your point yet unfortunately. And for the mafuba its just too risky with everything considered and to roshis knowledge probably wouldn't even work since they all incorrectly thought 17 and 18 were literally androids and not cyborgs and the mafuba doesn't work on machines.

@@Mr.Silence. that's technically wrong. They are only called "Androids" in the West. In Japan and in the og manga, they refer to them as "C18 and C17" or Cyborg 18 and Cyborg 17. It's mostly because of what you mention before, that strain in the body could probably kill him or leave him in a bad position if the mafuba where to fail.
