Notice how often he pops up in the seat and how his helmet is consistently shaking. It is a jarring ride that’s constantly transmitting vibrations, all of this while having to maintain the highest degree of focus and awareness of speed and position on the track.. and that’s just hot lapping. You can imagine the fatigue this can create for a driver. Not just anyone can do it. From outside the car, it looks like the race car is gliding.. just as smooth as glass, this is obviously quite misleading.
