I flew with my wife on G-BNLI LHR-MRU back in 2002; it was a great flight made even better by getting an up-grade to Club World following an over-booked flight! I always have a soft spot for the 747; a very good looking aircraft, I feel safe in them; was also one of the fist as a child of five back in 1970 to fly in the original Pan Am 747's LHR-JFK; great memories. Thanks for sharing your video.

very simple : he wrote 6:24 as a "shortcut" to anyone who wants to jump to the takeoff roll. Most takeoff videos have that. And for some reason, he found that funny :)

Awesome video, love the BA 747-400, been on one LHR-SFO. The BA pilots voice at 26:59-27:02 reinforces the stereotype of BA pilots having posh voices haha

I was there on that date I even taken a picture of your aircraft when you took off I was on the El Segundo Hill that's at the end of the 105 freeway.

One the short hops I took from California to Washington state allowed passengers to listen to ATC on their little arm console radios. But that was in the late 80s. Not so sure if that's still possible now....

They are flaptracks. The flap uses them to extend and they help provide support for the wing
