Oh wow, that's what we call it when one of us has to hold our semi reluctant dog in our lap to keep them from doing a specific behavior for a time. Like "I'll give [the corgi] some struggle-snuggles while you get your coats on so he doesn't crowd around your feet and gets trampled", meaning he'll struggle to get free a little because he's excited for a walk.

About 5 min into the vid, and as a lady who likes men, I think the photos are also not objective from a scientific sense because they are all wearing different expressions, in different angles and lighting. The perceived *demeanor* of someone can make a HUGE difference in how "attractive" they are to someone. This just proves that attractiveness is subjective and NOT objective like the incels believe. Edit: And Xan a few seconds later said basically the same thing as me. You're a good one, Xan. ❤

For these guys in particular, yes, but I wouldn't say that's specifically their issue only. It's hard to approach women in general without seeming creepy for a whole litany of reasons, everything from the increasing atomization of society due to capitalism to the epidemic of sexual violence. A LOT of factors make "every masc presenting person is a potential threat" an incredibly understandable position.

On the topic of "women have types": I once had a roommate come into the house after talking to the guy she hired to do some yard work and she was *squealing*, "Oh my God that guy is SOOOO HOOOOT!!!!" I looked out the window at the guy and I was baffled. He just looked like a thick guy with a normal face to me. He had the kinda build where he might have muscles under the fat and be really strong but he also might just be fat, you can't really tell. I am not attracted to men, so I was especially confused. Guys: Just because you're not conventionally attractive doesn't mean you're not somebody's type. Also I really wonder how that guy was acting off camera or in cut clips if security was called on him. The fact that he shows he records the girls he approaches with a hidden camera first is creepy. That or changing anything for your man. What she said could literally be flipped a around. Well, if your man respects you, then he should be okay with how YOU want to dress. It's your body, not his. The idea that you have to do what your man says because it's "respectful" is just saying that he owns you and is the only one allowed to make decisions on your body. These people forget, respect goes both ways. Yet they never talk about how a man should respect a woman, only how women should respect them.

And it REALLY played into the fear of being fired from your job. That's the tactic they use. Fear of rejection, and fear of losing your job. The latter would be relevant to discussion about workers rights and unions, but that's not what these video essayist wants. They only care about workers rights as much as it lets them dunk on women. What people don’t seem to take into account is that people that you like become more attractive over time, and people you don’t like become less attractive over time. So yes, if you ask me “how attractive is this guy” I will rank them according to some objective scale, but if you ask me how attractive “this particular guy I know is”…. There has to be more to this than just him being reported and being expelled. With how popular KZbin is and it being a college campus, I doubt it is uncommon to see some students going around making videos and even asking other students to be in them. I think either this guy was not accepting no and it was off camera or some students found out about this guy's channel, didn't like his incel content and decided the next time he was making a video, decided to report him for harassment. The punishment doesn't fit the crime as there has to be some proof he was doing more than just asking nicely. The campus would just probably suspend him or at the very least not allow him to make videos on campus if he was just simply asking.

3:45 L College Kid. Like who does that? I'm not trying to bring hate but I want to say that college IS a place to reflect on your opinions and beliefs as well as get educated on those topics, that's why college IS a safe place and conservatives, whatever the beliefs of the right wing may be are so divided that their own party hates each other. They also hate college, unironically. And conservatives call liberals "elites" because they know how uneducated the conservative party is. The Democrat party and anybody with liberal beliefs have not only expressed their universal respect and kindness to others regardless of any association or genetics or demographic, etc., but their vast majority not even being rich or upper middle class. I can relate to this claim because my family and I are middle class and liberal/Democratic. Again, thank you Xanderhal. Roughly starting at the 4:30 minute mark(maybe a tad before it) Xanderhal makes a point of stating that it’s obvious that the ladies being asked related to the scale that the ladies have a type(fyi most folks have at least 1 type of person they like either s*xually, romantically, for friendship, ect). People like the guy who’s featured in this video have been informed of many times likely but refuses to believe that anyone(women and girls especially) might have other qualifiers for partners beyond physical appearance(which in my experience has been of lesser importance compared to personality, intelligence, and other much more enduring and complex than that of physical appearance). So while I’m not a woman, I can speak as to what I observed with my sisters and friends along with my own personal experiences in dating to come to the conclusion that being attracted to someone can be crazy complex and is 100% depending on the total compatibility of the individuals involved that are seeking out a partner. Sure being considered conventionally attractive MIGHT help hypothetically but it’s not the sole determining factor like these folks seem to think. Honestly it’s really sad that as a posed to working on themselves as an individual they rather blame their problems on everyone else rather than recognizing they are the problem.

Why would you want to have empathy
@LucianDarcWolf
@LucianDarcWolf 11 ай бұрын
@@painunending4610 Well honestly I’ve never not been working on myself. I’m not an Incel either, but have been targeted by a couple in the past when I was a teenager, as were a few of my friends and sisters. I was raised to be largely humble, and not to even request things that I didn’t earn or deserve. Even though I was heavily bullied growing up I still didn’t have the mindset of I’m allowed to demand things of people beyond not being treated like dirt for being poor or enjoying reading or art. As to how much it took for people to attracted to me I can’t say because I never really actively sought out romantic/sexual relationships. It was always the other person who would show interest in that way first and even then it was more often than not after we had been friends for a while. The first of my longest relationships lasted 10 years, ended amicably and we remained friends till her passing. The second of my longest relationships is still active, having been for the last 16 years. The relationships that fell in between all lasted roughly 2 to 3 years give or take, two of those relationships failed due to the other person cheating, while the 3 remaining we just naturally grew apart. So realistically I personally don’t have issues with finding partners, though I wouldn’t say I actively tried to either as I was much more focused on other things(namely navigating life when I had a heafty amount of responsibilities especially when I was a teen outside of school and my very very limited social life; needless to say I honestly for a time didn’t have much time for dating either along with a general kind of take it or leave it approach. Which is to say if I got to be in a relationship yay, but if not then it was a non issue). Though I’m a bit confused as to what gave you the impression I was/am an incel or anything of the sort when I stated an observation based on both first hand experience and witnessing that a friend/sibling or being vented to by friend/sibling that they had these things happen to them. Like I said in my above comment that looks/appearance can MAYBE play a part to things but it’s hardly the only qualification that people have when they look for a partner. For me personally what I look for in a partner covers a huge range of things, like interests, hobbies, taste in food, movies, media as a whole really, humor(can they make me laugh), would they stick around if I got sick like what happened to my mom(some of which I did inherit), will this person be supportive of me and my dreams(as I would be of theirs), ect. Appearance to me was very much an internal beauty, self confidence, self love, and are they a genuinely good person(if a class mate is sick hurt will they get help, will they make sure if someone is getting bullied they’ll get help/speak up, ect). I never once ever felt or thought that I was entitled to have a partner at any point in my life, especially with the abuse I suffered at the hands of my at the time stepdad added with my own health which had started to show signs of decline(I was 16), work, school, and being bullied from the age of 6 onwards to college. Not once did I feel I deserved anyone or anything I hand in my life, I always felt that most of the love and things I got in life had to be earned and there was no such thing as a gift. I had a wonderful mother who raised me to be grateful for everything in my life, we were poor, she was always sick(not just the flu…chronic pain from two forms of arthritis Osteoarthritis and RA[she developed both when she was a teenager; underdeveloped knee caps that would partially or fully dislocate at any time, chronic fatigue chronic bouts with pneumonia, sickle cell anemia[deformed white blood cells which results in a very weakened/compromised immune system], and later I’d loose her to cancer), she emphasized that I was more important that dating/having a partner at least while I was young so that I could have fun in life just on my own to learn what I liked and what I wanted out of life(it did help some that I didn’t have the time to do much dating at that time too I’m sure but when you only have 1 free day a week do do anything fun for yourself you have to be selective on your activities…most days I just tried to catch up on sleep and reading books or drawing. Even when I was dating I would just chat with them in the phone while also cleaning/doing chores or catching up on reading or homework), and she did try to get my at the time step dad to stop his BS(but she was physically unable to do much, but did at least manage to get to where he’d be home less often[found out why he didn’t complain about it a bit before my mom passed]). My mom didn’t raise an entitled child, she raised a child the best she could with the help of her parents, and later her husband(my former stepdad, he was an abusive alcoholic narcissist…he gave me trust issues for life among other things) that would be ok in the end no matter what life would throw his way. Had she known some of the things her son would faced she might have chosen to make sure I had more meditation/greater patience when it came to just how extensive the bullying I received was(I was literally nearly killed by one of my teachers because he didn’t want to follow a medical protocol for me, I have a seizure disorder which is induced by high temperatures(for me that 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade and 85 in direct sunlight) this teacher knew about this for YEARS when he chose to yell at me to take laps in the heat…he nearly lost his job…a 7th grader tossed me into the school’s pool when I was like 9 and held me down under the water(I couldn’t really swim well) but my mom who couldn’t swim dove in to save me as she was the only adult present at that exact moments(the other was tendering to another student I believe), I don’t remember what happened to the kid though, I do know that he left me some PTSD though(granted there were plenty of events did that). I’ve only been two things in my whole existence up to and including today been resilient and completely and perpetually carrying the feeling of I don’t deserve anything in life. If it’s anything I’ve had to do sense I was a kid is how to ask for help and that it’s ok to ask for help. I had friends but I never expected any of them to stay, because I never felt like I deserved them so I was grateful for every day they stuck around, I love my mom, but even then I felt like she’d be better of if she hadn’t had me. I’ve never ever once felt entitled nor genuinely have their presence desired in the lives of ANYONE I’ve ever known that’s how deep my trust issues are…even though I know that my partner, my siblings, and my friends do want me around…

Well yeah, I'd say most people in general find femininity more attractive than masculinity. There are more attractive women than men, and way more woman care about their appearance, and loads of men don't give much a shit about theirs. I get like 50x more positive attention from men and women, after I started presenting way more androgynously and sometimes fem

There's a lotta people both male and female that simply don't have the social skills to gain interest from other people , though appearance is fairly important to most people ( Myself included) I have known some very beautiful or handsome people who have absolutely no sex appeal whatsoever , and part of that sex appeal , I feel , is being able to hold a conversation as well as wearing clothes that suit you , show a bit of your personality and that you feel good in , It gives a person confidence to a point and that adds to that sex appeal ... Incels tend to wear whatever their mothers bought them and often continue that same style ( or lack thereof ) after leaving home and don't really have any interest in how they look ... I also think Incels concentrate too much on wanting to get laid rather than learning about the person they're chasing ... I was a Ginge , by the way , but one WITH soul ... The interviewer himself is the best looking out of the group of photos he has , and his ability to talk to a camera is pretty good too , but his approach to the girl who just said no and walked off , was very creepy , not to mention that he actually gave her an excuse to get out of talking to him by telling her she was probably busy or in a hurry to get somewhere ... and he really needs to wear clothes that don't make him look so pale and insipid ...

9:37 omg, they're all *fine* why would you _pay_ for this?! Honestly, in my opinion, there's no one there that's less then a 5, but the simple fact that they all _paid_ this man for this "service" immediately drops them all to a 1. How about this: I'll set up a fiverr and you can give _me_ $5 to tell you you look fine. For $10 I can even give you advice on what you can do to improve your attractiveness (to me, at least). Here's a hint for free: hands are hot. Its a bargain because I'm sure he charges more.

I'm not the produest individual; I try to change a bit day-by-day, and some days are...harder than others. What I can say is that, aside from appearances...presentation matters a lot. Who would want to be with an individual so clearly full of negativity, hatred both outwardly and inwardly and, last but not least...who holds such sad worldviews? Like, c'mon. I think it's mostly a matter of perspective. Finding a partner is a beautiful occurence...but it's only one of the myriad things you're able to do. The more I think about it, the more it seems like this whole process of change is something that takes a long time and is _excruciatingly_ difficult, but being negative like these people that ACTUALLY PAID to be "rated" like they're some sort of product?...no, dude.
