@INNOPID5 жыл бұрын
Thats the meeting point of the altitudes
@jasonn_lifts5 жыл бұрын
It's where the altitudes intersect
@joshithaa55964 жыл бұрын
It is the point of intersection of all the altitudes in a triangle. The ortho centre of an acute triangle lies inside the triangle . The orthocentre of an obtuse triangle always lies outside the triangle . The orthocentre of a right angled triangle lies on the vertex of the right angle.
@sistersquad49914 жыл бұрын
the orthocenter is where all the altitudes meet, and the altitude is the perpendicular segment from the vertex to the opposite side. for a right triangle, the orthocenter will lie on the vertex of the right angle, for a obtuse triangle the orthocenter will lie somewhere outside the triangle, and for an acute triangle the orthocenter will lie somewhere inside the triangle. hope this helped!

The only thing that i wanted to hear is that, "the perpendicular bisector doesn't have to pass through the vertex", cause i was thinking, "if i were to draw a line, it can't be perpendicular, passing through vertex, and bisector at the same time, i mean it can, but not always" *Finally, inner peace*

Does the orthocenter for a right triangle always have to be on the hypotenuse or is it just a singular case?
@sistersquad49914 жыл бұрын
always. the orthocenter will always be on the hypotenuse of a right triangle every time... however only for right triangles. for acute triangles, the orthocenter will always be in the triangle, and for obtuse triangles: the orthocenter will always be outside, every time. just remember: right - on, acute - inside, obtuse - outside. hope this helped!

I SWEAR I F****** LOVE YOU...so I’m in advanced honors geometry, and my teacher was gone for a whole week. He came back and he tried to rush us into catching up to where we should’ve been with the extremely fast pace we had. I was absent Monday, and he went over a whole chapter on all these currency points, and he set up a test for today. Tuesday we had practice SAT, and yesterday he was already teaching us on the new chapter without catching up everyone who was absent. I didn’t know S#!+ about the test. But you saved my Sass.💕💕💕

One doubt.. perpendicular should be drawn from mid point of each side for circum centre?? We need only perpendicular right? Does it should be from midpoint only?? We can draw perpendicular from anywhere from the sides..??
@sistersquad49914 жыл бұрын
the perpendicular bisector is drawn from the midpoint, and in a 90 degree angle from that side. however just a perpendicular line does not need to be drawn from the midpoint, but if you are doing a bisector then yes it needs to be from the midpoint.

90 - theta not 90 + theta 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@yee68704 жыл бұрын
sin(90+x)=sin(90-x) when you see a right triangle and you want to know sin(x), you divide the cathetus opposite to the angle x by the hypotenuse, right? you have to realize that the cathetus opposite to angle x is also adjacent to angle (90-x) the opposite is also true; the side opposite to angle (90-x) is adjacent to angle x therefore, cos(x), is equal to sin(90-x).
