Gday again from Australia lads and holy shit that is one tough explore. Parts of it looked like badly bombed WW2 trenches. Amazingly clear video and audio for such a tough environment. One of your best episodes yet.
@UKAbandonedMineExplores2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Qld, was a constant battle to keep the lens clear, I carry a cloth but that git soaked and my hands and coveralls were filthy so cleaning it took patience. It's a tough explore.

@@UKAbandonedMineExplores I loved the banter with the last guy to join you in the adit. The same guy wasn't helped under a collapse whilst you provided commentary. Ha ha. It's clear you guys are comfortable in such a tough environment. Stay safe & keep up the great work.

👷🧔 fantastic beautyfull savage on the outside ❤ love it ! At the beginning of the mine the cameracolours made brilliant difference in the wallstones grey blue brown ... realy pictures like a fantasycomic , best pictures came all the time the camera was not to fast moved or not to fast turned than all colours and details are very brilliant . 🧔👷⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐📽️👍. Thank for publishing the Video 😅

Naa, your wrong, you see we've worked out that is the incline at the end that leads to a major mine so the plan is to empty s bottle of wine into that water, then I'll drink it all up! ;)

Amazing to think this was worked in the 1970's. It must have been what the Americans would call a 'wildcat' operation. I clearly remember Bonfire Night 1980 as well!

Yes, it deteriorated rather fast. It has a brother we are attempting to locate too.

@zGJungle2 жыл бұрын
How do you know there are no vertical shafts hidden in the water ? from the style of the mine ? Old surveys ? Or suck it and see?
@UKAbandonedMineExplores2 жыл бұрын
A mix of research and experience. Just because they don't show on maps doesn't mean they aren't there. But, we are following the horse level, it's extremely rare for a sump yo be found in a horse level as it usually goes under and to one side of the vein, so sumps are usually found at the ends of short, branches going off, infact you see a shaft example of that in this video. So if uiu see our other videos when we see short off branches that are flooded and seemingly go nowhere we don't go down just for that reason.
@zGJungle2 жыл бұрын
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores thanks for the explanation! I'm new to checking out mines, been getting into it for past 3 years, lucky to be in Wiltshire with all the relatively safe Bath stone mines, what you did in this video blew my mind, good mix of fear and excitement!

@UKAbandonedMineExplores2 жыл бұрын
Well, dome people will/have done it ;) The pipes were usually for compressed air or fresh air. With the valve, and compressor tanks I suggest these were for compressed air. Glad you enjoyed it :)
