Sky News host James Macpherson discusses Pope Francis’ controversial interfaith gathering in Singapore.
“Is the Pope Catholic? All of a sudden, that’s not a rhetorical question,” Mr Macpherson said.
“Some saw it as a wonderful admission that we’re all right in our own way. Others saw it as a humble confession that none of us can claim to be right.
“Most, and I suspect the Pontiff himself, saw it as a way of being inclusive.
“Our culture, having given up on truth, is trying to include people around inclusion.”

Christians don't have to follow the pope as you can pray directly to Jesus and get your advice and biblical interpretations directly from the Holy Spirit that lives in the temple of your heart. The trend is secular people get the pope to say whatever they need and then atheists assume Christians are also authoritarian on religion and will follow the pope as well as Catholics. You can be a right libertarian Christian and know in your heart that for example some issue like eating meat is okay beyond 2030... and in fact when you cook meat God says it's a smell pleasing to him 100s of times in the Bible, even when everyone else may be going vegan at the pope's instruction for example. We need to have special religious freedoms for Christians that are separate to the pope's global Catholic leadership. Similar to how the left allows Islam to have halal meat etc.
