Borealis Project payload and civil engineering scuttling log: Due to the extreme system disruptions that are no doubt being exacerbated by rhe geomagnetic field intensities in the surrounding area- the senior technician, acting as our de facto supervisor from the casaulties following the expedition attempt last week has emplaced a sufficient "mesh" structure around the hull of the ship allowing a dimensional drift mooring and anchor tethering system with the last of the on-board supplies. Although it isn't nearly enough to ensure any permanent stability- frequent calibrations are needed and with what's left of the team moving out tomorrow- what will happen to the vessel is entirely indeterminant now. Some RF blips were detected by the hailing devices but there is reason for hesitation as some kind of large-scale boring operation seems to be being carried out nearby and the crew still haven't recovered after- anyway- we burnt through the infirmary supplies so this ship is being officially sanctioned for decommissioning- as useful as following Aperture protocol is now... We'll try to make for the coastline where an unmanned shipping port should be but we're taking way too many chances in the cold alone- hopefully once we get there we can get back to the mainland and find out what the hell is going on... yes, HL3 will not follow the Epistle 3 story, it's more likely to go it's own way

I don't see why not. Valve's Half-Life 3 is going a completely different direction, under completely different writers, as Half-Life: Alyx teased. This mod is only aiming to finish the narrative arc that the original author, Marc Laidlaw, set up with the episodes, and attempted to finish with Epistle 3. Not to mention, Valve is taking their damn time (what else is new?), so the whole project could be finished by the time that we see anything HLX related even announced by Valve.

I know I already posted this comment on another video, but no one saw it or replied to it. So I'm posting it again. This is what I said before. Can I make a small suggestion for an idea for this project. When I was little and when Half life 3 was still believed to be coming out. I always thought and anticipated that would we would get to use the portal gun, seeing how they were going to cross over the story with portal and half life. I also hoped that we get to visit abandon aperture laboratories. I don't how much this mod has already been planned out, but if your still planning things out I think it would be cool to see these features.
