No more GFX is big sad because you were just doing amazing stuff with it. But I get it. I use mine less and less but it will be hard to let go (if I ever do) since there's nothing else like it. The clicks on the Fuji and the lens sound so good! Not fair. Maybe do a whole ASMR video just adjusting the camera during a shoot - no talking!

Sad to see no more GFX, your work on that was mesmerising. I had an SL and it can’t touch the GFX in any department, I’d never go back to it.

So I always have a camera that I shoot with for around a year to make reviews on it but not use it as a primary camera. I’ve done this for about 5 years with 5 cameras, my year was up. I am going to miss the GFX for sure but I hope that my work lives up to your expectations using another system. If not, maybe I’ll prove ya wrong! Either way, I really appreciate you watching my videos and taking the time to comment and discuss gear. It’s people like you that I do this for 🙏🏼 (even though I don’t have the camera you’re using now 😟). Will I ever go back or the GFX system? Probably in a few years when they release more lenses!

I have the same bag, and I like it a lot. I wish the dividers were sturdier and that the bag straps were a little thicker and wider.

The straps don’t really bother me. I’m sure you could get some 3rd party dividers if yours have worn down. I’m so glad you watched my video, thanks

Sad to see you let go of your GFX but each of us has ever changing requirements. Why the Leica SL though? It seems like a glorified Panasonic. I'm personally interested in the Lumix S5 II particularly with the ability to load LUTs for photos. But right now, I'm very happy with the GFX.

I enjoyed the GFX, I just didn’t find myself picking it up as often since I didn’t really have ability to get the wider, faster lenses. It does seem a bit odd but I always have a “side camera” that I trade around and I missed my Leica M240 and the endless lens possibilities with their small sizes. I shot an SL at a wedding with a second shooter about a year ago and just really loved the design and minimalism. To me it’s not so much about the “best camera” for my “side” camera, it’s about a camera that makes me enjoy what I do full time but compartmentalize my hobby as well. So it probably is a glorified S5 (and I looked at those too) I just didn’t like the way it felt. Maybe it’s the badging though 🤷🏽‍♂️. Either way, the GFX has some of the best quality images I’ve ever put my eyes on and I’ll miss it but I’m okay with my trade. And didn’t know that you could load LUTS for photos, that’s sick. I’m assuming JPEG like Fuji film sims kind of?

The LUTs of Panasonic S5 II are going much further than the Fujifilm simulations. But also more complex. There are LUTs to download and they look awesome

Sucks to hear you left Gfx for Leica. Your review on the 45mm 2.8 brought me to your channel. I feel like there is a unique opportunity for a GFX KZbinr--there’s an audience but rarely find a KZbinr that shoots and discusses GFX. The cool thing of owning a system is the community that comes with it, GFX definitely missing that.

Sorry to let you down. I go through cameras like socks. I keep one for a year and move on. I don’t think I could review much more of the camera than I already did with my two lenses. The lack of lenses for the GFX really pushed my away and I missed my Leica cameras so 🤷🏽‍♂️ sorry to lose you as a sub but I may pick up a GFX100S when they release more lenses that are suitable to my style.
