Stress is inevitable. Maintaining a clarity of thought is needed in order to make good decisions, perform well on exams, and say the right things.
Cyclic hyperventilation allows you to train up or enhance your stress threshold to increase your mental toughness.
How to do this?
You’re going to inhale and exhale 25 times. This increases the amount of adrenaline in your brain and body.
Download the @virtusan_app and learn more about the super protocols to excel at work or school with Dr. Andrew Huberman (@hubermanlab).

So you mean meditation is more sustainable for increasing our stress threshold?
@walterscott2286
@walterscott2286 Жыл бұрын
@@Fdan36 Yes. I personally believe that to be true. We could all benefit from learning to really be much more RELAXED rather than overexcited in our day to day lives.That way we retain vital, supportive energy. Physical overexertion of any kind most often drains away life energy, in my opinion. The over -zealous usually burn themselves out earlier in life! The Chinese refer to this as having a "fiery heart"....which apparently is not so desirable as it might first appear!

@walterscott2286
@walterscott2286 Жыл бұрын
@@illujion6516 You can get into the mindset and physiological state of PEACE in a moment's time. If you presently can't comprehend how this could possibly be, then likely you haven't meditated much in your life, and/or you haven't considered the possibility and developed the ABILITY to quickly relax and achieve peaceful consciousness at will. For myself, I learned some years ago to just "run" to what I call "CLEAR MIND/QUIET MIND" when I need to. To develop this ability, what you do is, think of a time or two when you awoke up from a really, really refreshing nap or deep, deep, PEACEFUL sleep. Note exactly how you felt utter, and complete stillness, calmness, clarity of mind. Now lock that mental/physiological state in your mind's imagination and memory.Then label it with a word trigger. You can abel it for what it was: CLEAR MIND/QUIET MIND (CMQM for short). Next, whenever you find yourself smack dab in a highly stressful situation, you can CHOOSE to recall or call up that exact same mental/physical state! Yes you can. It may take some practice. I always say to myself: "RUN to CLEAR MIND/QUIET MIND!" And then I quickly slip into this highly desired state of being. Now where does MEDITATION fit into all of this? Through the practice of meditation, or through relaxation hypnosis, you can FIND this peaceful, calm state within yourself. Then you can work on EVOKING that same blissful, sublime, quiet, clear -minded state AT WILL.
