Increase Turkey Numbers

As trapping has declined so have the numbers of ground nesting birds such as turkey, quail, woodcock, killdeer, and others. Hunters complain about not seeing many wild turkeys. The solution is to trap nest predators on your property.

Agreed! Fortunately we do not have any on our property.........yet. They are not far away so I expect to see some on our cameras soon. Until then, I'm trapping and removing all the others. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good hunting!

Best wishes to you on the trapping. Maybe it'll be a long time before you have to deal with any wild hogs. A couple guys from my deer camp and I plan to set a hog trap on the 25th of this month. I hope we can get a bunch out of the woods and into the freezer. Some people do like the taste of coons, and there are some recipes out there I wouldn't mind trying. Like hogs, you do need to remove their glands before eating. By the way, congratulations on the growth of your channel! @@ReturningtoBasics
