yep, it's not worth eating on the main trourist trails because they cost 2x-3x as much as normal places, of which there are plenty if you're even 100-150 metres off the main trails, and you can find chimney cakes for around 3-4$, and the lángos with sour cream and cheese are the real deal ...

Aaand both the Bazilika and the Parliament building are exactly 96 m tall, because Hungary was founded in 896. Aaaand there are 96 stair steps leading up to the dome of the Parliament building where St. Stephen's crown is on display. You see averything is connected here.

Culture, castles, food, museums, buildings, and language. The language is very foreign. Hearing the language on Frederickusz interviews with captions or Agi Szabados stories with captions is surreal. A visitor paradise.🎉

If you would not pay 9 bucks for a chimney cake then buy them where the locals buy them, not in the tourist traps. Mathias church is named after Mathias Corvinus.

Good to know! We'll keep that in mind for our next (hopefully much longer) trip to Budapest. Thanks for watching!
