Incredible DOUBLE width carry of the 252kg Nicol Walking Stones by strongman Matt Jones in Scotland. Strongmen and women gathered at Potarch Bridge in Ballogie Estate, Aberdeenshire, Scotland on Saturday 19th October 2019, home to the famous Dinnie Stones, to attempt a series of lifts and carries.
Those taking part in the 252kg (138kg & 114kg) Nicol Walking Stones challenge over Potarch Bridge, were Brett Nicol, local strongman and guide, Matt Jones, British strongman from Tamworth, Jamie Duncan from Brechin, Scotland and Levi Bunyan from Aberdeen, Scotland, who only came to try lifting the stones.
Matt Jones became the youngest person to life the famous 770 lbs Dinnie Stones here in 2017 and who won the heavy stones walking challange during the 2019 Donald Dinnie Day Games at this location. This challenge dates back to 1860, when the famous Scottish strongman Donald Dinnie carried them across the width of Potarch Bridge and back.
