I can appreciate almost every type of architecture, and the Contemporary or Modernist style, and what that equates to in each decade, has always been one of my favorites, and this is no exception! I love the clean, flowing lines, the walls of windows, and the amount of space is incredible! The finishes are great also! It is a beautiful home and property! Nice find! 🤟✌️

This one was great! I think you're right that there was a (massive) addition put on the back. Maybe to add a huge master suite upstairs? That basement had so much natural light, but was laid out in a wasteful way with those smaller rooms (too many for storage, no windows/closets to make them bedrms). That staircase was gorgeous. I loved that kitchen--it works because they chose very light floors and only put the dark upper cabinets along one wall. In this floorplan, i'd have a formal living room straight ahead as you step inside, the dining table on the kitchen side, and the addition i'd use for an informal living rm with chunkier furniture (like an 'L' shaped sofa, and maybe a reading or game night area on the other end). This house did with open concept what that other recent house with the tiny kitchen failed to do! Anyway, it was awesome and i'm sorry you had to go thru it feeling anxious but it's totally understandable why you would given the circumstances! Thank you for sharing it, and take care! 😊

Ethan, hey!! Lol, my hubby and I have watched your bando videos ever since you first started and have watched some VERY beautiful homes be destroyed over the past few years and it makes me so sad! I know that sounds kinda crazy to some people but there is nothing better then to drive thru your old neighborhood and show your kids/grandkids where you lived and grew up when you were their age. To share with them where you almost ran over your best friend with your new bike or the porch where you got your first kiss after coming home from a date lol... Soooo many good memories being destroyed for no reason at all!!! This house is absolutely gorgeous!! Anyway keep making your videos and we will keep watching!!! ❤😊

The ground level seems to have had minor flooding, and some mold remediation. The scale of the house is a bit unusual... it looks as though it was a different dimension, and someone decided to "Super-size it." Well built, and expensive, it just overpowers you....I can just imagine what a chore it would be to clean. Cheers Ethan.

Exactly! To me it is so huge it is uninviting and cold. Also, a nightmare to clean. I do like pantries in homes though, but that was bigger than most kitchens.

that home should not be taken down its a beautiful home the basement can do with some renovation the kitchen was a dream I can cook and bake in it the butlers pantry is great love the shelving you can put plates cups and saucers and coiffe mugs in there also you have plenty of room for dish cloths for wiping your dishes now the back yard was huge like an Australian Football ground or cricket ground but most of all fantastic video thank you for sharing and see you in the next one

That small, round "skylight" is called a "Solatube" - I had one in my former house - they still make them. I agree with you that the water heater must have leaked ( or a pipe broke ) and caused a flood.

Just a guess on the basement, bathroom above had some water issues and ruined the drywall. Looks like both the toilet and tub leaked. Unless that area in the ceiling was under the kitchen, then I venture to guess that the dish washer or another appliance leaked. I had a frig that had leak at the ice maker solenoid and damaged some flooring and leaked into the crawl space.

I have a feeling the basement was actually going to be a business of some sort. The big room could be a reception area and the rooms with the green doors and glass panels some kind of office or private room perhaps a spa. It screams business to me. Only one thing that was a turn off were those floor to ceiling CURTAINS in that one room ~ I came in watching probably nearer to the end so I missed the basement if there was one I did see some stairs going down …may watch from the beginning

I think they were adding on and they ran out of money and I think that house is older than one 2005 but 2005 is when they were adding on because to me that I lived in California and that looks like the older style homes and I had a brand new house in the 90s that looks more up-to-date than thatbut I love the house the house was beautiful. They need to refinish the basement.
