Some brilliant performances and finishes out there today. Netherlands v Wales and Australia v England in the semis. May the best team win. Im rooting for Wales but its gonna be tough. Price on fire for Wales Smith on fire for England. Whitlock brillliant today and Netherlands looking very strong in general. Gonna be very interesting.

This is such a great tournament, but I feel the format is too short. Give us an expanded field with a group phase, with the winners and runners up going into a knockout bracket, and let the whole thing play out over a week of class darts!

@@vincentmcbride6210 How about every nation is represented by two singles players, and two other players specifically to play doubles? England could have Chizzy and Cullen in the doubles, Scotland could have Anderson and Borland, Spain could see the pair who played in the OG tournament, etc, etc... If you allocate a victory point for each singles game, but two for a doubles game, even a nation getting absolutely battered in singles would have a chance to pull themselves back into the tie. Reverse singles tiebreaker, two best players from each nation, now that would be very exciting!

@@vincentmcbride6210 100% all knockout matches should be a best of 7. Then best of 11 in the final. Ending in double doubles matches if required. Game 1: doubles Game 2: singles Game 3: singles Game 4: doubles Game 5: singles (opposite players) Game 6: singles (opposite players) Game 7: doubles You should be able to win at this event without winning a doubles game imo. Format defo needs group stages as well. Have the simple doubles first to 4 they used in the first round for group matches. 8 groups of 4.

@@ShiivaWilding Rubbish idea imo. Look at doubles Tennis. It's so unknown. That's because the best players aren't in it. So seeing the best players in a doubles is what makes darts doubles special
