I forgot to mention the Pelicans diving for the shoal of fish. That's a great capture, well done. I'd love to see that. I bet if you did the Pelicans diving in slow motion it would look Great!

Wow! How do you get the budget to travel like that?

We have been extremely fortunate this year with travel, our mother actually got married in the British Virgin Islands which is what brought us there, and she wanted to take our family around the islands, hence how we got all of our footage. We also have some good friends in Costa Rica, and because we stayed with them, and it was only Evan and I on that trip, we were able to spare most expenses except for the flight! It’s always a pleasure for us to get to film in exotic locations, and we just got very lucky this year!

Nice! I'm currently looking at study abroad opportunities in Costa Rica and other Central American countries through my Spanish program in UNC. Don't wanna do Spain because as a Biology major, I want to do field research as an undergrad at some point. If that doesn't work out, a good friend of mine is from Brazil, so we might go there for spring break.

Fantastic pelican diving shots and the Common tern footage is cool. We see a few Common Terns in London but nothing like this, it reminds me of visiting islands just off the North East coast of England as a kid, home to hundreds of Artic terns.

Thank you! I would love to see some arctic terns in the wild, I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing more than a few migratory individuals, but they are incredible animals for sure.

Great video! I clicked this video to see what you'd say about brown pelicans. My first few (and only) encounters with one was actually at the lake on the University of Miami's campus. I can't figure out if that's still considered "coastal" haha

I once saw an island of pelicans near Portsmouth Island, NC. There were a lot of babies at that time and I was shocked by how pale and kind of unattractive they are. Very awkward looking!
