Happy Father's day to all those amazing fathers of the awesome children❣️

What a fabulous children's garden! Because it's free, families can come here without having to worry about admission fees, which are a deterrent to inclusion. Giving children an opportunity to learn in a low-stress environment is a gift. Nice to know local government cares about children.

Wow!.... How absolutely FABULOUS! I've never seen anything as charming! Boy, how I wish we had something like this in our area. My grandson would really love a place like this! And I so love that Kaitlin is into helping children discover and learn through all the senses! My sweet grandson is autistic ( he is verbal, very loving, and doing great in therapy) and my daughter, his mom, is an Occupational Therapist and just amazing with him! How fun it would be for him to experience all of this! I am going to tell her about this video. She is the type of gal that would take this info and gather the right people and place and create a space just like this! Just a WONDERFUL WATCH! Thanks, Linda and Stewart! I look forward to the second part of this tour tomorrow! Much love and blessings...

i was there last year around March and totally loved the gardens! Whenever I travel to other cities, the first thing I research is to see if there is a botanic garden to visit.

What a marvelous children's garden - such a great place to learn and play! Our botanical garden offers summer classes for children. It's never too early for them to begin learning about gardening. Kaitlin is delightful. It is obvious she loves her job. The children are fortunate to have her there.

The Myriad Gardens are such a gem, just like Linda & Stewert! The Children's garden is only a small portion of the property. It's always a priority to bring guests here for a garden walk. I cannot wait for the green house conservatory to be completed this Fall 🥰🌿

Thanks for the Deja vu Moment! As a child my Mother pruned a “cave”under en enormous Bridal bush, we would go under with our Barbies, shake the branches for that ethereal moment of petal confetti. It was glorious!

Great to see a young woman like Caitlyn leading the tour. Knowledge and confident. A real asset to the botanical garden. Hope your eyes are ok Linda. They looked a bit distressed and hyper extended. Good work Stewart!

What a beautiful, fun play ground. So educational teaching children about plants getting to taste some grapes and play on the toys. And play in the water park. I have NEVER seen nor heard of such a beautiful park for children and adults as well. I’m so impressed with this concept. There definitely needs to be more of these garden parks all over America. 😍❤️🌺🌸🌻 I have to say what a neat idea for a school to have along with raised containers for the children to plant some vegetables and berries. It’s so fun to have pancake, popcorn smelling plants. I’m just mesmerized 🥰🤩 Thank you so much for sharing your field trip with us.

I live in Northern California and have a Rose of Sharon that I have let grow to size of a small tree that is about 8' tall, the hummingbirds love it when it is blooming, I also have a Monarc butterfly every Spring.

Our town has a childrens garden but not as extensive. But there is a large water feature & playground. A favorite spot for birthday parties. We all could use a magic happy place. Love the crayons, spheres, maze & music pads. All of it! 😄🥰

So much fun! I have been working on our children's garden (for the grandkids) and so many fun ideas from this. My most recent add on , we have taken round cedar posts , ranging in heights of 3 to 5 (above ground) and tipped the tops and are painting them up like colored pencils . Our first wave of grands were girls , now we have boys , so trying to take it from the fairy land concept to a bit more physically engaging way. I am very excited for the rest of the tour !!!!

Hi Linda and Stewart Great great show today! I love childrens gardens. So important to have them in town and grow one in your yard. Children like to use the utensils and have their own boxes. Be careful with Rose of Sharon. I have them and yes butterflies love them. But get the variety that does not propagate by seedlings. They grow in your lawn and in your other beds. I’m always pulling them. But there are varieties that dont do that. Also Rose of Sharon does not leaf out until June so it’s pretty brown all spring here in 7a New York. But I still like it and use it as a cut flower as well! Yes to a trip back to see it in bloom!!!

Katlin mentioned an author that writes stories for children about gardening. I’m in a garden club in Mt View Missouri. We support the library and would like to find books for children about gardening. They have story time each week throughout the summer. I could not hear the the authors name she mentioned. Do you by any chance know his name or any other books that would be good for our library
