Our family traveled every summer, camping as we went, eventually visiting 45 states, Mexico and Canada. The first thing we did every place we camped was clean it up if necessary. Dad made sure we always left every campsite better than we found it. You're giving Bella a wonderful gift.

Great looking rig. Looks like it will provide years of adventures and memories. We are are looking at building our own Expedition truck to travel along the coastline as we surf around the USA. I wonder how it would be to ship this to other countries. I could see this beast of a rig traveling around the Australia coast and all the epic surfing spots around the world 🌎 filming and creating memories as we go. Congratulations to the family again for thinking outside of the box and enjoying traveling and adventures with their daughter. 👍

@@denisephillips9269 Agree. A 5 1/2 year old who sleeps in the lounge area - does the child go to bed when they do? or do they go to bed when the child does? Yes, as you say white/light upholstery with a child... but also for a "family" who enjoys the outdoor stuff - hiking and biking... Where is the 'dirt'... or even the vacuum cleaner! Where are the 'dusty/dirty' shoes? They repeatedly talk about "family", but where is the evidence? They talk about a map that has all the places they've visited - where is it? They have a fridge and a cupboard with 'some' food, and bottles of wine around, and a bike on the outside... but where is the evidence that anyone actually lives there? It looks 'too' clean. Where is their personality? Even the 'holder' on the back side of the sink area is completely empty. If it wasn't for the car seat, you would not know a child was living here. He says they can put their chairs on the roof. Where are the chairs?... the garage is empty apart from a couple of bags. Even the outside is completely spotless. The area between the cab and the living area is completely spotless. It looks brand new. The BBQ looks completely brand new - it doesn't have even that 'first used' look. The tyres are completely spotless. Even an empty house that has been 'dressed up' for sale, has more personality than this. It's a nice van, and they come across as a nice "family", but throughout, it's very much a "sales pitch" for Bliss Mobil.

Exactly. She needs a personalized space that is filled with the things she likes. And it shows her that her parents considered her. There is absolutely nothing in that rig that show that little girl lives there. A doll, a teddy, bear, artwork. Personal space is even more necessary for a child who's environment is constantly changing.

Wow! There’s a bunch of whiners on here. They’re happy doing what they’re doing. They have one child who does have a place of her own. So what if it’s the dining area. Chances are she’s cool with it. It’s an adventure around every turn. Are there unicorns and teddy bears everywhere? No, but there’s new sights and the great outdoors. Oh, and as far as her “welfare” as not having her own room, she’s cared for and HAS a place to sleep. A far cry more than some kids nowadays. Oh, and nice rig folks!

She’s getting older. Teenagers NEED their own room. You’ve put more thought into your wine storage than your daughter’s sleeping space. I know you think it’s fun now. But when she’s 15 and has to sleep on a camper couch/table she’s going to rather sleep elsewhere. My parents slept on a fold out couch in the living room for years when my sibling and I were teenagers, just so we could have our own rooms. We were dirt poor because my last sibling was born very sick and lived in the hospital until they died. Even with good insurance, the bills were in the millions. We had no choice, these people do. When your wine storage is lit up for display, but your kid doesn’t have a wall to hang a poster on, or a dresser to keep her girly trinkets on, or a bed to giggle with her friends on, eventually she’s going to resent you.

Youre making a lot of assumptions such as the family hasnt thought out their life and plans. And equating others’ situations & feelings with this family’s. That isnt very fair or kind. What happened to tolerance and doing your own thing, living your own life, being independent and creative?

@Miss… you are exactly what’s wrong with this world today you are a typical Karen. Your comment was rude and uncalled for. This what’s wrong with this country today this is a family that is taking interest in their child’s upbringing and not putting her in front of a video game or a tv to entertain her. Your outlook is all the reasons why Americans kids are ending up dead or in jail. Just because these adults enjoy a glass of wine with dinner doesn’t make them bad parents either. Sounds like your jealous.
@lightraveler333 Жыл бұрын
You make a good point that as kids get older they will likely want more privacy and space HOWEVER It's all about the choices we make. Notice how her parents only have one daughter and I would just assume with their set up they're not dirt poor and when it's time they can clearly afford to make accommodations and adjustments for her she's only 5. On the other hand, sounds like your parents made "poor" choices regardless of expensive doctor's bills for your youngest sibling (and sorry for your loss loss🙏). You didn't mention how many siblings you have but You did say that they slept on pull out couches for years so you all could have a room. My question is if they knew they were that poor and struggling why keep having children???? My parents were the same. There were 5 of us children in the same home and we were close to poverty. My Mom was the bread winner, while my Dad was a lazy, cheating, abusive drunk who only worked odd jobs. Walking home from work when she had a car that he was no show in. So if my Mom clearly knew that why keep making babies with him? And in both cases guess who's to blame? We have to take accountability for our choices.

The kid they have now doesn’t have a room. She’s an afterthought. But you think they should have more? They put more effort into their wine storage and cutlery storage than their daughter’s “room.” If they had more kids, they’d probably have to sleep on the roof.
