ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I would strongly recommend getting the other sh figuarts across the spiderverse figures. I thought I was fine with the sentinel ones but the sh ones pair so much better than the other lines.

I recently got this as a bday present and I love it. I know it’s like 130$ but for collectors it’s a must. Also for the torso articulation, just switch the join the other way and it should be fine

I got mine a few days ago and i love the figure. Just phenomenal. I didnt have any issues with mine. I wish the cape was cloth instead of plastic and i can see the ankle joints getting weaker over time since hes very top heavy eapecially with the cape. But i still love it

Marvel legends shoild have had texture on the blue and butterfly joints. This is technically mcu figures, and they always do that for movie figs. Take some of that eternals money and could have done it.....................

Unless Sentinel or Mafex come out with something that blows this out of the water. This is the figure to get. Though Mafex did have a prototype comics Spider-man 2099 shown last year so I'm looking forward to that. I feel like Hasbro just does not do 2099 any justice. Yeah I need to glue on the Kneepads before they pop off and I lose them forever. Not sure why Bandai seems to limit the lower torso ball pay on this body. Just seems strange. I wish the cape was done better. It's this hard plastic cape that makes 0 attempt to look like the one in the film. Hasbro at least tried. Here it seems like the design team went "Oh yeah he did have a cape for 2 seconds". Still great figure though.

Ok, so, I ordered my S.H.F 2099 from Amazon, and so far, so good. He doesn't look like a bootleg, but it feels like it. The articulation on your figure is much smoother than mine, but I'm not sure if that means it's a bootleg. I'm scared I got a bootleg because I spent so much money on him. The joints are pretty stiff, and the arms don't do a full 360 so flawlessly. Honestly, I'm scared to even try and pose him. It feels like he'll break at any moment. I did add oil to the joint, but it didn't help.

It's a bummer having to glue the kneepad and modding the torso to make it optimal but honestly, given it's an exclusive, I'm fine with the hefty price mark. First, because it's the only great figure of SM2099. Even with few accessories. Sculpt and articulation wise, it's top notch. MLs are garbage and Mezco's is a disappointment. And second, because we've been overpaying ML for a few years now and they've been disappointing and deceiving ever since. Bad QC, less joints, tons of reuse, few accessories and straight up jerk moves (Daredevils or Spideys...). The only progress they've made is face prints. I'm perfectly happy having skipped several crappy MLs to get this jewel of a figure. Even with the nitpicks.
