I was near this street when I was there last and didn’t even realize it! XD I was just a bit north, trying to snap photos of the Hokanji Temple pagoda. Kyoto appeared to have a pretty decent craft beer brewing scene when I was there. Japan, in general, has really starting growing on that front. Lots of cool stuff to find and drink. 🙂

When I was in Kyoto I went to that umeboshi store and bought a box of the large kyoto plum umeboshi to bring back to the US - my partner and I finished it in the first week. I wish I bought more. Next time, I have to bring a separate suitcase just for these. Great Video guys! I LOVE Kyoto.

Oh this touches my heart. I enjoyed Kyoto a few years ago with my friend from Tokyo who introduced me to so many new delicious foods and places. Of all the delicious food I tried, my favourite was the yatsuhashi... thin soft mochi strips. I brought so many home. We made a Canadian styled one that had peanut butter inside and maple syrup drizzled on it. Love love love your channel.

Like Satoshi-san, my mom is not a cinnamon fan so I only found out how great it is much later in life. I love mochi/marshmallow-y texture so the last one was definitely my favorite one. The bun is something I must have once I travel to Kyoto!
