What a beautiful day in Kyoto! Like you, Shinichi, I adore the combination of traditional and modern architecture, and Kyoto has such a wonderful balance of both. I especially love seeing temples and shrines. So much natural beauty there. Thank you for working through your anxiety to make videos for us, Shinichi-san. I agree, choosing action is almost always best. Satoshi is such a help. It must be nice to have him navigate so you're free to focus on filming and on conveying your experiences to us. He's a fount of knowledge, charming and funny, and cares so much for you. Lots of love to you both. 💖💖

Hi Shinichi, Thanks for a fantastic tour of Kyoto on such a beautiful day. Loved the different buildings and the River. The Temple looked amazing along with the surrounding gardens. Thanks for braving the day despite your anxiety. My Daughter suffers with it and I used to get it when I was younger but I feel you did the right thing and faced your fears, get plenty rest. Take care both of you 👍😀

Aloha Shinichi, have you ever tried meditating for your anxiety? Even ten minutes a day helps. I use the Calm app but there are others out there as well. It also sounds like you're experiencing "long Covid" symptoms. Look into that and maybe there will be things that can help you feel better. Thanks for taking us along on your trip to Kyoto!

Shinichi and Satoshi, thank you so much for this wonderful walk along midtown Kyoto. I feel that I was walking there with you. I have walked these streets so many times, and visited some of these sites you visited, but not since Covid, and somehow I felt that I was walking together with you. I even recall feeling tired and somewhat unwell like you, Shinichi -- I wonder if you have some mild heart damage since catching Covid, Shinichi.... If that breathlessness continues, how about getting it checked out, at least visit a clinic and have a basic health check? Anyway, I loved your camerawork, choice of places to visit, and commentary. I think I will take the train and visit the Kamo River again soon, and think of you thankfully....

Seeing this again I realize I really like Kyoto. I've been there twice, both times in summer. I remember taking shelter in Yasaka jinja because of a horrible thunderstorm. I love walking in the Higashiyama area. I usually go to Kiyomizu dera early morning and walk to Yasaka jinja. You can find such lovely shops and small restaurants in that area :) Sorry to hear that the anxiety is back like this. What I heard is that the fatigue can take a while to go away. But it's good to get out. Luckily it wasn't that crowded. Glad to hear you decided to take it a bit easy.

Shinichi, have your blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol levels, and thyroid levels checked. Test for cardiac atrial fibrillation, and mitral valve prolapse...Today's procedures can work wonders. Don't smoke ANYTHING, avoid sugars, salt, fats, alcohol, and caffeinated products!!! FEEL BETTER, AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT FUTURE INCIDENTS..."...24/07/365...ONE DAY AT A TIME..." Plus, with every beautiful Temple you pass, and/or enter, I'm sending prayers out to all for wellness, good fortune and PEACE...❤❤❤...

Aloha from Honolulu. My wife and I have been watching Tabieats and Shinichi’s World for the last few months. We’ll be in Kyoto in November and plan to go to Kyoudon Kisaba Okakita after watching your video. My wife always comments that she loves the food Satoshi eats! Besides obanzai ryori, we’re also going to try Enboca while there. An interesting pizza restaurant with a wood burning oven and the kyoryori concept of using the freshest seasonal ingredients, we’re quite intrigued.

It was 35 C here in August, a relative ended up getting a mild case of heat stroke. But Yasaka Shrine and Ginkakuji were so calm and peaceful without the foreign tourists. If you come back to Kyoto you might like hiking up to the grave of Joseph Hardy Neesima and his wife Yae. Minami-za is great, I saw Yotsuya-Kaidan here. In Gion I really recommend the Kanji Museum, it's really interactive and fun!

Hi Shinichi, thank you for the tour, I've been to Kyoto twice and that's too little time to tour around. By the way you worry me about your complaint about catching up with your breath, have you got yourself checked? I mean your heart? Please do. That's exactly what I felt, got myself checked and they found blockage in my heart artery.. I don't like to scare you but it's better to be sure than sorry. Pls. do, we love you here in Canada.

Love your vedio about kyoto, sorry to hear about your covid experience. YOU ARE RIGHT, covid does trigger nerve problems if you have a previous similar issue . I hade exactly the Same symptoms recovering from covid and since it triggered my nerve pain I found it very helpful to take omega 3, and vitamin D capsules which is really weird cause it's irrelevant 🤭 of course you should consult your doctor, but personaly it really helped with the annoying nerve discomfort and the exsostion, have a speedy recovery and get well soon.🌸
@Ally-oi6lm2 жыл бұрын
It actually isn’t irrelevant. If you are already low in vitamin d and omega 3 then having covid will trigger the nerve problems so you’re just replenishing your body with the vitamins needed. Glad you figured out what vitamins you need to ease your symptoms

As soon as you feel a panic attack coming on, stop & sit down. Close your eyes. Breathe in SLOWLY thru your nose, filling your lungs as much as you can. Count to 5. Now, SLOWLY let the air out thru your mouth. Push as much air out as possible. Now relax for a moment. Now, repeat but as you close your eyes & before filling your lungs, picture something that makes you happy. The ocean, a flower, a beautifully made piece of pottery. Do this 3 or 4 times then just sit & relax. Listen to your heart beat. Imagine it slowing down & beating normally. I tried meds for the panic attacks. All they did was make me suicidal. Then I found this breathing technique. It works wonderfully for me. I hope it helps you.
