Incredible Jewellery Box Restoration - Turning Trash To Treasure

My mum found an incredibly old and very sentimentally important jewellery box while clearing out her house ready to move and she asked me if I could restore it to its former glory for her. Of course I said yes! So here's how I did it, hope she likes it and I hope you all do as well! 😁

Not rubbing the inner tray was wise as I believe they were flocked and it would have rubbed right off. Your mum will be so happy to have it back in her life again you know. I’m sure your Mom Cherished this when your Dad gave it to her, now she will cherish this again and even more. So sorry that you lost your dad at just an age where a young man usually is learning so much via that relationship. I think it's quite special that you are taking in your mum to look after and I'm sure she treasures the box even more now that it has been given to her by two men very dear to her!! Your talents never cease to amaze me! Turned out incredible!! I can only find baby wipes with aloe, vitamin E or lotion in them. I worry about it interacting with anything like this or even resin, which Im sure its fine. But I make my own by taking paper towels and putting them in a wipes bottle with gentle soap and water. Works a dream and costs less!!
