He is very lucky he didnt throw that v block out of the machine, If you pause it @1:26 and go frame by frame using the period and comma keys you can watch the part move as he hits it with his hand

I just want to point out, that you are just statically balancing the unit here! You still can (and will) have huge couple unbalances with this method. So for further improvements you should check experts like Schenck Rotec in germany for that topic.

Pretty sure they are doing a single-plane dynamic balancing here. Since the majority of the unbalanced mass will be very close to the table's surface, there really is no reason to do any additional balancing.. unless you're planning to take your machine close to the table's first eigen frequency 😂
