I was piloting a flight from SNA to here about 10 years ago, and just before the point of no return, a passenger died. I had to return to SFO and have his body removed - then continue the flight to OGG. That was a long day for a two-man crew. We finally got there at three in the morning. I flew exactly the same approach, except I could not see the mountains.

What a View!!! For me it is similar to landing in Palma de Mallorca. I've been there twenty times and I always love this landing. For me, the flight always begins in Cologne. Thanks for your wonderful videos!

I landed on Kahului airport 1st time on the 17th of July 1980 in a DC 9.

My first time landing in Kahalui was in 1967 in a 707. The airport had a giant banyan tree growing right in the middle. Birds would shit on your luggage. It was way prettier when you would fly over green sugar fields. It's changed... not for the better.

Great fly! Have you heard airlines is rising pay, offering bonus pay, and dropping some education requirement to combat shortage? Breeze Airways is already raising pay for first officer on Embraer E190/E195 aircraft is $61 per flight hour and Airbus A220 is $68 flight per hour. Meanwhile GoJet Airlines is offering $20,000 to first officer and experienced pilots is $40,000. And Delta Air Lines drops four-year college degree requirement.

@@sla31 Story of my life. I had to retire 6 years ago after flying 36 years. Mostly bad times. I was once a wide body Captain making less money than the guy who picked up my trash. Four major airlines, numerous bankruptcies, so many furloughs I lost count, 14 airlines in all.

Maybe higher than 36,000 ft The wing should haven't moved ,the end of it keeps moveing notice how it turn soppisettfoward to the rifrount side,claim adjuster please.
