@@andrewpomodoro I live in Canada - when I said Americans I meant the entire continent. I love Asian food but what I hate about it is the fact they love to use sugar on everything. It just ruins it for me. II cant be close minded cuz I actually tried all that stuff and I feel diabetic right after. North Americans have also become accustomed to drenching sugary shit on their foods. Take a pulled pork sandwich for example. How anyone in their right mind can enjoy that crap - I'm not sure. It's basically a sweet bbq sauce sandwich - processed garbage . You like it? I'ma stick to my home-cooked meals and not become diabetic at 40

It sounds & looks strange, but when I actually tried it, it was a surprisingly great addition to the sandwich. The Muslim sauce is sweet anyway, so the addition of raisins enhances the flavor.

I used this video as a food source while visiting my nephew in Fort Dix Army base yesterday. Two of my sisters and another neice drove over to Philadelphia and ate good: fish platter, fish hoagie, with everything, 2 chicken tender platters, a bean pie and squash pie. Been eating Muslim fish and steaks since the 80’s. We grew up with the Steak n Take restaurants in south Jamaica Queens NY. I even know the the ingredients to the special sauce The only difference is, ours wasn’t Chopped up, and it only came with lettuce onions tomatoes cheese and special sauce.
