I'm here for more of this from you for sure! It looks so much better now and it already looked incredible! I love that damage is more of a thing which makes it feel both faster and more interesting. The shorter run is much more appealing as well. On top of all that, the updated attack indicators look so much better! Man, I'm looking forward to jumping into this myself and with friends. Looking forward to seeing more of this from you during the weekend wait and beyond!

The game looks really amazing. Funnily enough I've been wanting to make a turn based coop rpg with a roguelite aspect to it and a live service model so it's funny to see this game existing as it has so much in common with my idea. I cannot wait to pick it up on the 22nd haaaaaa!

i would say that with how often you are bonking probably would have been a good idea to get the bonk does burn stacks upgrade. that bleed would have done really well for you, especially for bosses, a continuesly stacking 16 damage for every hit you do.

The game looks fun, but i do wish that characters will get some more identity i guess? 3 skills and a passive seems a bit lacking in terms of them being really different. With that i can see why it will try to earn more money via season pass and cosmetics more then through paid characters.

eh, yes and no, you have to factor in the diverging paths that upgrading the bindings leads to, let alone the evolved bindings that make them truly different. They are basic, but each 1 skill has a wild amount of possibilities.

@@Retromation Sure, but it depends on the numbers of those options, if every binding can branch only into two, that will not be enough, if there is either more options, or the skill that we evolve can then branch again, it might be better. But also i see a problem that might come in the future. As we can upgrade our skills, and there is only 3 slots, if we choose to evolve our binding, we could run into a problem where those upgrades might not be as useful with the evolved version as they were with the basic one. I hope that they are thinking about it going into the future. Thanks for the answer anyway!

@okamitbg Three things. First, there are more than 2 ascended versions of the bindings afaik. Second, you can reroll the ascension options if you don't like them and were smart with saving reroll tokens. Three, it is kind of a failing of the player if you select a bad Ascended binding for the upgrades you have on a skill, the runs are now tight enough that you don't really have time to be annoyed with sub-optimal upgrades for your ascended binding. It will always be an upgrade to ascend, I have never seen one that isn't just obviously an improvement, and same goes for the upgrades. This all being said, I hope and assume that future updates will bring more upgrade options to the pool of course.

@@Retromation Oh ok, thanks for the answer. If there is a multiple different choices per binding then it's way better then i thought. Regarding upgrades, yeah, i will assume, since i did not saw all of them, that they would most likely always an upgrade in a way, and even if it would come to an situation where it would happen, they would work on it in one way or another. After Your second post, my only concern now is if the monetization of the game that they went with will be a good one for the game, other then that i think that's rest should be fine then.

Roguelike, the stuff you unlock are sidegrades that get added to the pool which I don't lump in as a strength upgrade / roguelite

The only thing that I hope is changed is the reliance on having to have internet to play. Been burned too many times with games like that. I just want to play the games I own instead of basically buying the right to play the game for however long the company decides. Always online DRM is just the worst.
