I totally understand about wanting to remove a hump on your nose, I did it myself two years ago. What I don't understand is wanting the "pug nose" look where people can now see up your nostrils! I made sure my surgeon knew I did not want that look.

I think she was beautiful before as well. She is still beautiful however I don’t understand this trend that women have a desire to look like all the women who had the plastic surgery. because most of them they want big lips, small nose, brow lift etc. Barbra Streisand doesn’t have a nose like a button, I think she looks very unique and beautiful and on the top of that of course she’s a true talent. I agree. It's just so odd to look at someone's face and immediately think two words...Plastic surgery. One example of a woman who had a unique nose and was beautiful was Sarah Michelle Gellar when she was in Buffy. I say when she was in Buffy because I think she's had rhinoplasty since the show ended. She had an "unconventional" nose and she looked great. If I'm not mistaken, I think she also had hooded eyelids. There was no fox eye lift then and I think people were happier with what they looked like as they should be now.

It didn't enhance her natural beauty, it looks like a poor copy of someone else and yes like you said. She looks like she had plastic surgery. Which is not a cute look.

I know that wearing makeup was taboo and women used to hide the fact that they wore it and would even hide the makeup in little everyday gadgets on them to conceal the fact that they were wearing makeup since it was so frowned upon. That's what plastic surgery was like, and I think we are starting to normalize it more and more. It'll be interesting to see how people in the next 10 to 20 years react to it as they open up to talking about their own procedures, making it the norm like makeup.

after а rhinoplasty my nostrils a different. the plastic surgeon, who did my rhino, told me he cannot fix it and that it wasn't his mistake. The nasal hump is back too and looks like a ridiculous pimple on my nose. I paid a lot of money for the surgery and my nose is even uglier now.

No a rhinoplasty isn’t covered with insurance but since a patient is already getting the surgery to fix the dns it’s usually cheaper to get it together so it’s better to ask the surgeon

How often do lip lift surgeries lead to lip incompetence (teeth not being covered at rest)? I've also just noticed in general that these lip lifts end up exposing a lot more of the upper teeth and I'm not sure it's a great look.

Yeah, I had one done and regret the surgeon I chose. However I was clear I did not want to pinched nose and he honored that. I did a small change but he accidentally flipped one of my cartilage wings so it pushed one side of my nose up. Getting it fixed in a few weeks.

She was very pretty before… it’s always interesting how people perceive themselves. I mean that was rather major surgery as in it really changed her appearance. You can’t easily recognize her. I wonder looking at the mirror… or when hubby sees her! I mean… it must change the attraction. Anyway, Im glad doctor talked about the pug nose… I don’t particularly find that pretty. It has an aggressive or less polished look in my opinion. I wonder if it’s possible/desirable to close that a bit.
