‼STATEMENT ON NISAR CHARSI: So it appears we didn't know about the history of the restaurant owner, Nisar Charsi. Although we now know what he has done in the past, I want to make it completely clear that he did nothing wrong in this video and Paige never once felt uncomfortable, she actually enjoyed the fact that someone recognised her, talked to her, had a laugh with her, gave her a high fives and even moved the male chefs out of the kitchen to let her cook on the BBQ. In Pakistan, she has rarely been recognised by anyone, people refer to her as "It" or "she" in front of her. People ask me what her name is instead of her, people ignore her if she asks somebody something, or they listen and only answer to me. So we go to this restaurant and the old man is so friendly with her, wanting her to be involved in cooking etc. Yes he was a bit crazy and high energy, but we like these interactions. So Paige felt it was refreshing to finally take part in something rather than be the side-piece of me which she has been made to feel in a lot of Pakistan, outside Karachi. That's the honest truth, maybe Nisar Charsi is a bad guy, but in this video he did nothing wrong and even if YOU found it uncomfortable, Paige appreciated being made to feel like a woman who can enjoy experiences while travelling like cooking on the famous BBQ. Yes its Pakistani culture, peshwari culture etc that you feel uncomfortable, but it should also be respected that in OUR culture, European culture, this kind of behaviour, touch, welcoming behaviour is totally normal and so we enjoyed it. He didn't break OUR line, maybe he crossed over YOUR line. This is OUR experience that we share with YOU.

I have been following almost all of your vlogs and I am not gonna lie I feel a bit bad for Paige she always keep following you and does not get to experience things where she is comfortable. You should also visit modern side of Pakistan where there are a lot of activities for girls as well. Low budget places are not much comfortable for girls in Pakistan.

To be honest you don't know his intentions with garam, power, tan tan tan. All of them are s*xually inappropriate double meaning words. He would never do that with a Pakistani woman but he was clearly being very touchy with Paige and you should have been way more careful as there was clearly language barrier. My advice to you is to stay with Paige all the time and stay in modern areas around decent people and not these charsi tikka Nisar types.

As someone who was born and raised in Canada but has Pashtun roots I understand both cultures very well. And trust me when I say you shouldn’t take the Nisar guys actions lightly. He not only was touching your wife with bad intentions, he also was saying to her that after 12 they’re going to fuck. I get that in western culture here it’s normal to touch BUT it’s not being done with bad intentions. I know Peshawar might seem to give preference to addressing the man but it’s out of respect for your wife, and many of the men are not used to speaking to women openly anyway. Your wife wasn’t uncomfortable because she didn’t understand his words or intentions in that moment. Even in the west if a "creepy" man was trying to hug you that would be assault but if it’s a friend it’s accepted. I totally understand not feeling acknowledged as a woman there but they don’t do it because they value women less, in their mind it’s being respectful. You really need to think, if you knew a man was a known sexual assaulter would you want him to friendly with your wife? If you knew a man was a known p3do would you want him to be friendly with your daughter? Please please be careful and mindful if a man is being overly frank with your wife in a place where that is NOT the norm.
